New Turns!

Vedha's POV

We were all shocked by this behaviour of Sumedh....
It was my mistake......for which I had already said sorry.

"Sumedh??? Its just a game.....you shouldn't have done this..." I yelled.

"Oh come on.....its soo simple....you purposely hit him....." Shanaya spoke from back.

"I am not talking with you.... Stop interfering. I never wanted to hit anyone,ok?" I said to her.

"Areey bhaiyya......humne toh sorry bola tha na..fir kyu feka ball??" one of the kids pouted.

"Its their ball.....the kids wanted to play.....atleast you should've thought about them" I glared at him.

His expression changed.....he looked at the kids.....as if he realized his mistake...
"Sorry" he whispered...
"Say sorry to them....not to me" I told him.

"Sorry kiddos" he said with his head down. The kids didn't say anything and started moving away.

"Sorry....sorry guys.... I know its somewhat my fault...." I apologized to the kids..
"Its ok....we know its not your fault...
We will buy another one...don't worry" a kid said with smiling face.

Suddenly someone grabbed my arm..making me stand up... I looked behind me to see..... Mom!
"You were playing cricket......over here???
You think everything is fun?
We could here you yelling over these......um....these strangers from all over the place!! Mom yelled.

"But mom....atleast listen what happened" I said to her

"Get in the bus before you create any other scene" she interuppeted me.

"What??? Fine.......I'll go.....that's what everyone wants anyways......" saying this I stomped my feet and went in the bus.
I swear... If mom was not there..... I am sure Sumedh would've heard more from me...
Urrrghh.....I can't even have one peaceful day!!!

Its evening now.....
We're still in the bus....but now...its quiet....nobody's talking much....
Even though I hate it soo much.... Sumedh is still sitting beside me...
He said 'sorry' once again.....I said 'its ok' once again, and that's it.

Sid finally broke the silence.
"Guys.....come on now....its been hours we are not talking ..... I mean.....the 'sorrys' and 'its okays' are over now... Then why this silence?"

"Yeah..... I am bored now..... Get over the cricket thing now.....its nobody's fault now." Ria said.

"Hmm....sorry once again....and now lets make our moods chill" Sumedh said.

They were all staring at my face....like I should say something....everyone making faces....

"Ohhkkk" I whined...
And everyone smiled.....I look over my left side to see sumedh had a faint smile..... Then he pulled his ear a mouthed a sorry....

I smiled and said its ok by mimicking him.
And then again we got busy in our own worlds...

The sky is now becoming dark.....the air cooler.....half of my snacks almost finished......but our journey and talks only a little....
Everyone was smiling....laughing....singing....aahh so good was it feeling!!!

Just when I thought everything was getting back to normal.....our buses stopped....

The driver of the bus got down and went to see what happened and told us to stay inside...
Sumedh got up and went towards the door to ask what has actually happened...

He came back and said that one of the bus has some engine problem...its not starting...

Ofcourse!!! Something had to happen, right?

All the elders were standing outside and discussing....after sometime the driver came in.....and started driving.

But.....he took a right turn!!
We were supposed to be on the highway.......where are we going??

The buses were going straight now....there are lots of trees around us...
It feels like it we are going near a forest....
I looked behind to see there was only one bus....which means that other bus is still on highway... Soo many thoughts were coming in my mind..
Ria, Sidd and Sumedh were also puzzeled...

Our bus stopped and I could some 'wow.....omg'.... We four got up from our seats immediately and got out of the bus.....

Our buses were stopped near a riverside!!! OMG!!
It looked soo beautiful....first the cliff and now this.....
The river was flowing calmly....there were lots of trees and bushes around us... In front of us was an open space...
Perfect for camping!

In few minutes everyone got down.... We were asking almost everyone about the engine failure...
At last one uncle stood up on a high rock for our attention and said

"The bus got some problem.....we don't know what but the driver is trying to fix it..... Our hotel where we were supposed to stay is very far from here....and we cannot travel soo much distance in only 2 buses...... So we all discussed and thought of camping here for tonight....
Early morning, we will start again...
We have enough tents for everyone in the buses....if you don't want to stay in tents....then you can sleep in the bus too.... I am sure we have company of great cooks so we will not face problem of our dinner too..
Still......if anyone has any problem with this idea....you could tell us your suggestions."

Everyone started looking at each other.... Then Siddharth shouted
"No problem Sirji!"
Everyone cheered in happiness and excitement..
YAAAYYYY!!!

This was amazing......new turns and new adventure......we were all gonna enjoy it....
Soon everyone was discussing...and busy in setting up their tents....
