1) I'm running. I can't stop. They're going to get me. "I need to get away", I keep telling myself as I run down the main rode dividing the rich and poor all I could hear was the heavy armor rushing around behind me. no one's willing to stand up and help me everyone is staring and pointing the direction I'm going too the ones chasing me. I brush against the wall jumping over wooden fences that were ment to keep the horses in the stable. It was just 30 gold, And as if my day could get any worse I heard his voice. The great and Almighty Lionel . This man who is the cruelest of soldiers. A ruthless man with no regard of any life other than his own. He was six foot tall and carried a steel longsword that was covered in the dried blood of his victims who didn't pay tax. At this time I was poor and i had no home so I was basically running nowhere. I decided to make a quick right into a somewhat familiar area but I messed up and triped over the hole in the cobblestone road. As I'm stumbling to my feet, I can hear them screaming "where did he go" and then I was pulled up by the sheer will of my nearly ending life and made a quick decision to run down this alley. Turns out it was a dead end. As I fall to my knees knowing this wall will be the last sight I ever see, I notice the shadow forming behind me rearing up to the front and potraying itself as if it was a mural on the wall that I was assured would be my death. I close my eyes as the guards walked ever so slowly towards me. Next thing you know they're dead. They dropped like sacks of flour. Now I was even more scared. I feel a hand my shoulder. I turned back and look at him, A middle-aged man with the scar on his lip and dressed in a white robe and hood with a red scarf around his waist and a steal chest gaurd. He said to me "you're safe now", as another one in the same clothing reaches for Lionel's chest guard and lifts him up to deliver the final blow.

2) "run home now" he shouted too me. I "have no home" as I moved a step back hitting the wall with my right shoulder. This intrigued him for some odd reason known only to him. He wrote a place and time on a piece of paper that he pulled out of a satchel tied to his belt and told me to show up. He turned and reached for the medallion from lionel's lifeless body. Then he left. I knew better then to show up. I'm not an idiot if I showed he could kill me so I left. I was hungry from all that running. I had 30 gold coins waiting to be spent on a good meal. So I headed to the marketplace to see the baker. I finally got to eat.

3) The next morning I woke up in the sack I had slept on feeling starved I checked my bag and found 5 gold coins remaining that's enough to buy a piece of bread maybe even a whole loaf if the Baker was feeling generous. I walked to the marketplace and heard chanting and screaming. I turn the corner and see a crowd covering the main square. That could only mean one thing. A head was going to roll. I heard the screaming of a wife and her 2 kids begging for her husband's life, turns out she was married to the baker who had been so kind to me in the past. The guillotine primed and ready to drop the sharp blade.... He was gone. He didn't pay weekly tax on time and must have done something to upset the collector so they used him as an example .

4) Then woman appeared out of know where and got less than a foot away from me . She was dressed in a white robe with steel armor and the red scarf around her waist. She was dressed as the 2 men from yesterday. She had blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. Without even blinking she pulled a blade to my neck and said "your late". Ironically the place I was trying to avoid was the same place I was at. She said, "Ezio thinks your special and wants me to bring you to him but he didn't say wether or not you had to be alive". I was worried there because if I moved my throat would be slashed. She said "follow me closely do not leave my sight".

5) I knew right away she was not the type of person I should disobey. She had more throwing knives on her then the blacksmith had for sale. It took us 45 minutes to walk through the densely populated city of Constantinople, But we finally arrived. We even had to cross the great lake just to get here and the worst part is is that every time I slowed down to catch my breath I was screamed at by the beautiful blonde who is threatening to cut off a finger for each second. Then I met him again. He greeted me with another man dressed exactly like him. They both welcomed me to this small little home. "I hope Diana was at least a bit gental in bringing you here", he joked. "My name is Ezio and my friend her on my left is Yusuf and we are assassins.

6) I heard about the assassins, in fact I thought they were a myth. "Lionel the man who is chasing you with his soldiers was a know Templar" Ezio spoke clearly. Yusuf on the other hand, told Ezio to quiet down for this wasn't something to be said lightly. Diana opens the doors and we all enterd this small home, turns out it lead underground and expanded into this large walkway made of rope and wood. "We can't tell you everything now but I'm giving you the option to choose your own destiny to be free and never have to run for your life, for a home to call yours and a life for you to live." Yusuf explained as we crossed the bridge to the other side of this small ravine. I noticed how their were at least 20 men and women dressed in the same robes with different equipment and weapons gathered around on a table eating food like a family, how can I resist. Ezio began to tell me a brief story as I viewed the large banners hanging from the ceiling with a strange symbol on each one.

7) I was in shock and awe. I didn't know what to say or do it was like a dream a different reality. "All that we ask is for you to help those who can't help themselves join us" exclaimed Ezio.
