Ch.33: The Lost Power

1) I awoke to Diana's voice. "You have to wake up, Ezio needs you for taking the Templar den", she said pushing me off the bed with her foot. I tried getting up and she screamed louder for me to hurry up. I put on my robes and my weapons. She had an assignment today, she was to escort the man I retrieved from India to the Council. [The old guys who Ezio didn't like, they were rude and stuck up.]

2) "good luck on your assignment" I said to her as I hugged her. She left and I met with Ezio and the other assassins of different rank. "This is the plan, the den we are attacking has a shard of Eden. This specific shard is important because it had the power to force a thought into the mind of there victims. We will surround the den and attack at the same time. Keep your distance for the holder of the shard. The shard has a 15 foot radius of effect. If you are with in 15 feet then you will be caught in the effect" Ezio said to us.

3) we headed to the great lake as Ezio hired 3 boats to let us cross. Yusuf was waiting on the other side. He was going to help in this one also. I could tell because he had a hand full of his assassins. We split up to circle around the den. We killed the Templar guards on the roof and took there place. Ezio told me to use my eagle vision to see how many Templars were out side. I counted 20 on the outside but I saw something I had never seen before. It was a line that was gold. I told Ezio and he said my eagle vision is improving. He told me if I kept useing it, it would be close to his. Bothe Ezio and Yusuf raised there hands.

4) They clenched there fists and the first wave of assassins attacked I got up to help but Ezio grabbed my shoulder and told me to wait.  When the Templars were killed Yusuf ran to us. Ezio told him that we need to infiltrate. I volunteered. "Then go, use caution"  Ezio said as he gave me a shrapnel bomb and told me to go threw the roof.

5) I climbed the roof and entered slowly. I used my eagle vision to count the Templars inside, 12 . I threw the.shrapnel bomb and they fell..... but so did a beam that held up the den. It started to collapse. [This specific den was one of the largest, 5 storys to be exact.] I fell as the stare case under me collapsed. I grabbed onto a rail and held on till a roof beam fell onto the railing. I dropped to the 3 story  of the building and it broke under my feet. I couldn't think of what to do. Was this where I was going to die.... under a Templar den. I blacked out as I fell another story.
