Ch.25: Inside France part 2

1)  "Your married?" I asked Joseph as we grabbed our thing and put them into a backpack. "Yes, 2 years. I have a kid" he pulled out a tiny locket from around his neck she's an assassin aswell. "I thought assassins can't be in a relationships with eachother" I asked, I was curious about me and Diana. " it varies from each branch of assassins, French assassins can, England's assassins cant". I knew that me and Diana's relationship wasn't forbidden but was frowned upon by the ottoman branch. "What about you, whife? Kids?." He asked as we headed out the door.

2) "yes and yes." I told him about Diana but left out the part about her being an ottoman assassin. "Your the first one I've told about Diana and her pregnancy". "It must be hard seeing as how she is an assassin huh" he said. "How did you know" I asked with fear. Was he going to turn me in? "I've worked with her before, she likes knives and almost killed me once for walking slow" he laughed "don't worry your secrets is safe with me, but I don't know how long she will be able to hide her bump".

3) we headed for the church. We knew the man had to have been an assassin turned Templar seeing as how he knew how to use the hidden blades. But from what I could tell, he didn't have the hook blade or the fly blade. Which ment he wasn't an ottoman or an England assassin. He could have been from any other branch. When we got close we climbed the side of the church and stood on the scaffolding. "I'll enter from the left, you enter from the right" Joseph said as he handed me a square clay block with what looked like mud inside of it. "What is this" I asked. "We call it directional bomb, you see this string. Pull it and it explodes, make sure you squish the bomb on the window." He said as he showed me the sting that was 5 feet long.

4) we split up and I climbed down to the window on my side and stuck the directional charge to the window. I waited for Joseph's to go off first. Boom. Boom. We entered in a hurry and landed on the balcony of the peer.  I saw a rope connecting both peers and grabbed it and cut it then dropped to the grown. Jospeh jumped from the peer to the confessional box. We looked at the man in the armor. "Were here to bring you down, you will not leave here alive" Jospeh yelled. The man said nothing, he pulled out 2 swords from his side's and aimed them at both of us. As Jospeh demanded answers from the Templar I decided to rap a smoke bomb and a shrapnel bomb around a throwing knife and loaded my position dart. I had a plan. I was going to throw the makeshift knife and use my eagle vision to see where he was and poison him.

5) I threw my knife and Jospeh backed up. He knew my plan and that's why he distracted him with words. Both bombs went off and I used my eagle vision to pin point the Templar. I aimed and shot the poison dart. The Templar walked out of the smoke with his Swords still aimed at both of us. The shrapnel stuck out of his armor but it didn't look like they went threw, neither did the dart. "Looks like we have to fight" Jospeh said. " don't charge him"  I whispered in remembrance to what he did to me when I charged him. We walked closer and circled him. We pulled out our swords and I also pulled out my dagger. We stood in a position like the corners of a triangle.
