Ch.23 : Master Assassin Training

1) when we arrived back at the Assassin headquarters, Yusuf told me Ezio had to leave for a bit. He had to meet the Prince on some business.  "Ezio said for you and Diana to be given a new rank" he said as we all walked to the armory. Diana seemed upset and I figured out why. "Diana you are to become a master assassin rank-11 and Jason is to be given rank-6 Disciple. " he handed me a stronger steal chest plate and a new sword as well as one new hidden blade with a poison dart shooter. "Go to the Galata tower to train with the use of the poison dart shooter" he demanded.

2) Diana looked at me with somewhat anger. I knew that once you have been advanced to rank 11 master assassin that you would have to go to a den and carry out your training from there on out. Which ment I probably wouldn't see her again. "Diana you will be assigned to train at the Assassin den near the Galata tower, as requested by Ezio" Yusuf explained to her that Ezio himself would be training her. She seemed relived and so was I. It ment we still got to be together. I helped Diana grab her gear and items from the barracks inside the assassins headquarters and carried it her new home.

3) "don't worry, will still see each other. Ezio has big plans for me and that means will be together." I explained to her. Diana was still Diana and she was mad. When we got to the den, we moved her stuff into her new room underground.  All the dens had the bedrooms underground so it would take less space. "Lets go, I need to make sure you don't miss again" Diana pulled me by the ear. She dragged me outside and told me to goto the Galata tower and Learn to use the poison dart and comeback. She was still angry about how sloppy my knife throwing was. Dina didn't care for any specialty weapons. She only carried smoke bombs, a sword, and 60 throwing knives. She hated to be weighed down but once in a while she would craft some bombs to take with her. As I started to walk off she threw a knife past my head "your forgetting something"  she laughed. I kissed her and said" happy now" as I laughed.

4) I headed to the top of the Galata tower. I ment my mentor for today and he welcomed me. He explained how the poison dart gun worked. It used a turn switch that was spring loaded. I turned the dial and loaded the dart and aimed and fired. He had set up 3 targets made from straw. I practiced for awhile and I was proficient enough to use it in battle. He handed me some poison darts and a new satchel. I hooked it to my robes and thanked him for the training.  I performed a leap of faith and landed in the hay pile below. I headed for the assassins den to see Diana.

5) Ezio opened the door and pulled me aside. "I know about you and Diana. I decided to keep her in the city for her training that I will oversee, as for you, I need you to know the risks of being in a relationship with another assassin." He explained to me what could happen if she or I were to be killed, the other would want revenge and would compromise the brotherhood.

6) He brought me to the top of the Assassin den and told me he had scattered sashes tied to buildings and trees. "Look for the up here, tell me how many you are able t detect at one time" I did as he asked and I could only get up to 20. He was impressed because those with the gift are usually able to detect 10 or less. He trained me some more untill my eyes started to hurt. He told me to follow him as we left the den. I knew I wouldn't have time to see Diana but I needed the training. We went to the market district and met with Piri Reis. He was a captain of the sultan army and a friend to the brotherhood he also made bombs. 

7) Piri said he could take it from here as Ezio left to train Diana. "I will be your tutor today jason, I will be showing you how to make advanced bombs and distractions." I learned how to make stronger bombs with new ingredients.  After I was finished I was tired.  I headed back to the headquarters and fell asleep on my cot.
