Ch.11 : Lost in Transit

1) I ran up the wall and jumped to the railing, ran left and jumped for the flag pole and swung across. "These ottoman guards are persistent today" I said under my breath trying to lose them " I need to find him quick before the janissaries are called". I was chasing My first target out of the 3 who tried to blow up the Assassin den but he called for reinforcements and I had to deal with them and then the ottoman guards saw me knocking them out (I was only told to kill the 3 and no one else). So I lost him. [I know.... I'm an assassin, how could I lose him, well it's not as easy as you think]. when I was a thief I knew in the beginning nothing goes as planned and even now it's the same except I have weapons and training and my, ""eagle vision"" which hardly worked sometimes.

2) I ran to the top of a view point and they stilled followed me. I have to admit it was kida fun and they were impressive."congrats gentlemen you managed to get this far but will you go further?" I asked with sarcasm. so I saluted them for there efforts and jumped off. now the view point was pretty high, 6 storys to be exact. I landed in the hay pile. they looked down and I ran.

3) once I lost them I needed to find this Templar. I climbed up and stood at the top of a roof overlooking the market district. I stood in silence and focused. I opened my eyes and nothing happened.  so I tried again.. and again.. and again... till took a deep breath and sat at the edge of the roof. "how am I supposed to do this when he wouldn't even tell me how to turn it on. all he said was find my anchor.... My reason to use it." for Ezio it was revenge as a adolescent. for me it was nothing.

4) I thought of my family, and what they were like. I thought about wether or not I had brothers or sister's. I thought about Diana. I thought about the creed but nothing worked. so I used pain. I took out a throwing nice and stuck it into my leg a tiny bit to feel pain. I closed my eyes and breathed and pushed a little deeper. I opened them and I could see, I could see everything and everyone, I could see the happiness in some and anger in others. I also could see a glowing light that had a  golden tint funneling out of the clouds to a specified point in the housing district. Ezio told me that gold was my way of tracking. so I ran.

5) I jumped over a roofs and headed to him. still in eagle vision. I was worried how I would turn it off. but once I saw the glowing body I decided to take care of one thing at a time. I climbed down and took off my hood so I don't draw suspicion. my eagle vision faded. I weaved threw the small crowd and the camel's  carrying goods. I sprung my hidden blade and moved foward. I was a few feet away from him. I got close but stoped. he was meeting a man who was tall and wearing Templars knight armor. I moved back to see what was going on. this man removed his helmet and had a chat with the Templar I was hunting. I over herd some of it but not enough to know what was going on.

6) they walked down an alley to the stables where the horses were and I followed from the roofs. this man was huge. not fat huge but just big. he had black hair and a chizeled jaw. "I'm taking point on this do you understand, I was told you and your men would kill Yusuf and his merry band of assassins". he said. I knew something was bad. I kept thinking, should I leave and warn Yusuf or stay and Learn more. then he saw me. I don't know how because I was well hidden but he saw me. " come out assassin and die with dignity" he yelled into my general direction. I needed to kill my target and warn the others. so I came out and drew my sword.

7) he had a massive sword and his armour was made of reinforced steal. I knew I had no chance. so I did what anyone in my position would do. I threw 2 knives and another 1 right after. the 2 were aimed for the big one while the other was ment for my target. I was getting lucky seeing as how I dropped my target.. but that changed once I saw the Templar knight holding my Throwing knives in his hands. "my name is Charles. I will be killing you today" he said with confidence. I didn't wana be around to see if he was serious. so I threw a smoke bomb.

8) I got hit in the stomach so hard I herd a rib break. " what, you thought only assassins had the gift, Your ignorance is amazing". I swung at him and he dogged and hit me in the face. I fell back and he kicked me in the ribs. I slid on the floor. this wasn't going well. 5 blades went into the Templars armor and he moved back. Ezio and 4 other assassins showed up behind me. they helped me up and the Templar laughed as he moved back and walked away. "I'll see you later ezio".

9) "Ezio I'm glad you could make it" I laughed in pain. "we will take you back and get you patched up. "wait he said Master Yusuf was a target" I said as the other assassins looked at me in fear. "will take care of it" he said. "one more thing, he has the eyes." Ezio apparently knew this and said nothing on the way home.

10) when we arrived he talked to me in private after the doctor left the room. "the gift isn't only for assassins, Templars have men and woman who have the gift as well" I asked why and his response was simple. "it runs in the blood line".
