Ch 23

Alexander POV

     After the party, everyone left minus Eliza's sisters. Eliza was laying down and resting with our daughter, Peggy was playing with Philip, and I was talking with Angelica outside. Like any other responsible adults, we were drinking wine. Don't worry, we're over the age limit.

Angelica- So, how's having a family?

Alexander- It's good.

Angelica- That's it?

Alexander- What? It's good to have a family.

Angelica- Well, why do you seem so upset?

Alexander- It's nothing really.

Angelica- Bro, I'm now your older sister. You can tell me anything.

Alexander- That it! I'm just scared that, since I now have a family, I'm going to loose them. And I can't loose anyone else.

Angelica- You're not going to loose anyone. I can promise you that. Eliza is an amazing sister and wife that will take care of you, Philip, and Angelica. Philip is a young, happy, care-free boy who will blow us all away. Angelica is beautiful and I can tell that she will grow up healthy. And Peggy is almost the same as Philip, just in a girl version. 

Alexander- Well, what about you?

Angelica- Oh, well yeah. I'm healthy and good.

     She looks away from me and puts her hand on the chin. Something is definitely wrong with her and she isn't telling me it. 

Alexander- There's something you're not telling me, Angelica.

Angelica- Ok, this may not be the best time to tell you, but I'm moving to London next week.

Alexander- What?

Angelica- Ok, but Ale-

Alexander- No, why? Why are moving across the whole ocean in 7 days, and why are you now just telling me? 

Angelica- Ok, calm down Alexander. I was going to tell you earlier, but I couldn't. You seemed so happy earlier and I didn't want to make you freak out. 

Alexander- Well, what do you think I'm doing now, huh?

Angelica- ...freaking out?

Alexander- Yeah. Does Eliza know?

Angelica- Not yet.

     I bend forward and rest my head on my knuckles. Out of the corner of my eyes, Angelica looks at me with pity. She rubs her hand on my back.

Eliza POV

     What? Angelica's moving away? Yes, I heard the whole conversation. Cause I'm a nosy sister. Why would she not tell me. 

     She was rubbing her hands on his back. Why am I getting jealous.I don't want to be jealous.

Angelica- You ok?

Alexander- Not really.

Angelica- I'm sorry.

     He looks at Angelica, and she looks at her. He looks at he like no way he ever looked at me. Why am I so jealous?! This is my sister. I decide to ruin their moment, because I need answers right now.

Eliza- You're moving?

     They quickly turn around. Angelica stands up and hugs me. I hug back.

Angelica- I'm sorry for not telling you.

Eliza- It's ok. 

Angelica- How much did you hear.

Angelica- The whole conversation.

     I look at Alex with guilt in my eyes. How can he not tell me about how he felt. We promised to tell each other everything. He started to walk towards me, but I quickly turned around and started walking to the room. If he doesn't want to tell me how he feels, that's ok. It's his life. And if he wants to keep his feelings to himself and break that promise, I understand.

I understand completely.

Another short chapter. I'm sorry! I've just been really busy because on Thursday, I got a new puppy and it's only 10 weeks old, so I'm trying to give her some attention. Sorry, I'll try to make another chapter later today.
