Alexander POV

It's been a week since Eliza and I got into that fight. Today, Angelica was going to leave, which I'm sad about. I decided to spend the day with her and my friends. We were walking through the town to her boat. Once we got to it, we stopped and looked at each other. We held hands. It felt nice for awhile, but then I remembered Eliza.

     That little bitch.

She gets all angry at me just for not wanting to share my feelings with her. I love her and all, but she doesn't have to know everything about me. Yet, with her not talking to me or just her missing presence in bed at night is enough to make me upset. She also doesn't smile whenever I'm around her which is upsetting.

Her smile is the one thing that lights up everyone's life. It's as white as it can get, shiny, and is very infectious. Anyone looking at it will smile back. It's one of her many features that made me fall in love with her. It also gave her the nickname of "Ms. Smiles" in school. So, her not smiling makes me so upset and want to do anything to get it back. She's a cinnamon roll.

Angelica- You really feel that way?

     What?

Angelica- You just described my sister.

     How does she know that?

Angelica- Um, bish. You just told me.

Shit, did I actually say that out loud?

Angelica- Yes, you really did! Are you ok?

Alexander-  Yeah sorry, Angie. Just, the argument is bothering me.

Angelica- Well, I can promise you that it will get better.

Alexander- You really think so?

Angelica- Of coarse. I know her like I know myself. She will eventually forgive you. All you need to do is give her a little space but try and talk to her.

Alexander- I tried to do both!

Angelica- Just, trust me on this. I'll miss you, my Alexander.

Alexander- Angelica...

Angelica- Don't forget to write.

She walked onto the boat. After standing there for a while and thinking about life, Hercules and Lafayette came here.

Lafayette- Ah, bonjour mon ami!

Alexander- Lafayette, Hercules? What are you doing here?

Hercules- We're going home!

Alexander- What? What do you mean?

Hercules- Well, Lafayette is taking me to France with him! How romantic is that?!

Alexander- Really?

Lafayette- Wi, wi!

Alexander- But...why?

Hercules- Well, we were talking how much we miss our homes and he brought up how wonderful and welcoming his friends and family are back in France. And they appreciate gay, lesbians, trans, bi, you name it!

Lafayette- They love everyone for themselves and not for their sexuality or gender.

Alexander- But, I'll be all alone.

Lafayette- What do you mean?

Hercules- You have John, Angelica, Peggy, and Eliza.

Alexander- No. Angelica is leaving to London on that boat because she found a husband. And Eliza and I got into a fight.

Lafayette- But, I thought that you guys were inseparable.

Alexander- Wrong. She's not talking to me anymore, she's not smiling anymore-

Hercules- Not smiling?!

Lafayette- This isn't good.

Alexander- I know. I decided that I'm going to play the same game.

Hercules- Alex, please don't do that. Almost all of us are gone, so if you play that game as well, no one will be here to break it up.

Lafayette- Wi. The only people here will be Peggy and John. Everyone else will be either gone or a child that can't do anything.

They're right. I can't do that... but I think I will still do that. Hercules looks at his watch for a second (A/N- ahaaaaa no pun intended) and back at Lafayette. It looks like he's going to cry. He soon starts to cry and talk in a high pitched voice.

Hercules- Listen, we have to go. It's been real man.

Lafayette- I will miss you, petit lion.

Alexander- Don't call me that right before your leaving me for good!

Hercules- We'll come back soon, little man.

Lafayette- I'll miss you. You were the first friend I ever had.

Alexander- Same here.

Hercules pulls us into a big hug. After awhile for being suffocated and crying, I pull apart. Hercules pats me on the shoulder before they both wrap their arms around each other's and walk on the boat. I'm all alone now.

Eliza POV

Alexander left to meet up with Angelica to say goodbye. I would have gone too, but we already said our goodbyes. Plus, I couldn't leave the house because I had a secret to keep. And it's always hard for me to keep a secret and it's always noticeable if I have one.

I really hate this argument because I can't talk to him until he apologizes. And it's been a week. I really need to tell him the secret, along with Philip. But I just can't! I don't like being the one to apologize when I'm not the one wrong! Speaking of Philip, where is he? I haven't seen him since supper.

I look around the house until I finally find him in the nursery with Angelica.

Eliza- Hello, Philip.

Philip- Oh. Hi mother.

Eliza- Um, what are you doing?

Philip- Just playing with Angelica.

I look at Angelica, who was currently sitting on the ground in her pink pajama's and had a pacifier in her mouth.

Eliza- Ok, looks fun. Anyways, I need to tell you something and you can't tell your pa yet.

Philip- Ok, what is it?

I quickly walk over to him and knell in front of him.

Eliza- Philip, how would you feel about your Aunt Peggy come and live with us?

After a few seconds of thinking, he looks at me with wide eyes and a huge mouth.

Philip- Really?!

Eliza- Yep! Think of it as a late birthday gift.

Philip- Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you! What did pa say?

Eliza- He doesn't know yet. So that's why you need to keep it a secret from him. Can you do that?

Philip- Of coarse. I will do anything for you.

I smile and laugh. Almost right on cue, Alex walks in the room. I quickly hide my smile and walk out without saying another word.
