Eliza POV

The next day when I wake up, I remember all that happened yesterday. The argument, the kiss, walking all day in the wrong way. But then, I remember that we're in Washington's home. Maybe he can help us home?

I look at the clock. It's noon? Oh shit. I quickly put on some clothes and run downstairs to see my whole family having breakfast.

I bend down and start panting. That's the most I've ran in a long time. Crap.

Jr- Hi!

Philip- Morning, mother!

James- Angie and I made breakfast.

Angie- It was difficult, but Martha helped us.

I look at the table and there, in front of me, was the President and his wife. Of coarse, the last time I saw him was when he was general. So I don't know what to do. Do I bow? I don't know!

Washington- Hello, Mrs. Hamilton. Long time, no see!

Eliza- Mr. President-

Washington- Please, we're friends here. Just call me George!

Eliza- George. How are you? We haven't seen since the wedding.

Washington- I'm doing great. I'm so proud of you and Alex. Just by looking at these children, I can tell that you two are raising them right. And I can tell that they will do great things with their lives.

Eliza- Well, they definitely got that trait from father.

Angelica- Pfft.

Peggy- That's funny.

Eliza- What? What did I say that's wrong?

Angelica- Eliza, if these kids got taught anything right, it all came from you.

Eliza- What do you me-

Peggy- COUGH, HIGH SCHOOL, COUGH

Eliza- What? Ohhh. Peggy, not in front of the kids please. They don't know about that stuff.

Peggy- Well, it's true. He's a... bad person sometimes.

Eliza- Peggy!

Peggy- Sorry ma'am. Calm your tits.

Angelica quickly covers your mouth and drags her out of the room. Thank God.

Philip- Mom, when are you going to explain the meaning of.... that?

Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Is there a way of saying no? Because I want to, but I can't. I sigh. I don't want to, but I have to!

Eliza- Come on. Upstairs.

He smiles and nods. I start to walk upstairs and I know that he's following me. Here we go...

Alexander POV

Hi. You may be reading this and thinking "Wow, he's a whore for having sex with the same person you did in High School, but it's different because he's now married." And your right. You are 100% right.

I mean, it's not like I wanted to have sex with her. But I was peer pressured into it. Eliza's gone, and so is her sisters. So, I have no one to... do anything with. This is just sounding creepy.

Every day, Maria's coming over. And every day, I throw away 1,000 dollars. Luckily, my family is rich, so hopefully Eliza won't notice. But, today I almost forgot to pay Reynolds. And I can't forget. Because if I forget, he'll tell the whole world about this! And no one needs to know about this affair. I'll be ruined if anyone finds out!

But, I eventually payed him, which is good. I'm safe another day!

Maria- So, when will your family come back?

Alexander- Well, they said by the end of the summer. But they may come home earlier than they said. Who knows what they're doing.

Maria- True. So, do you think that we will still be able to be with each other after they come back.

Alexander- I have no idea. If we do, we will have to be extremely careful. We can't be caught.

She only nods. The only people who know about this is Maria, James, and I. And I would like to keep it that way.

Eliza POV

Philip- So let me get this strait. There is a parallel universe where we get to choose where you live after you die. And you, daddy, my aunts, and all of your friends are from about 230 years in the future?

He says slowly. I think about it for a few seconds.

Eliza- ....yes.

He stares at me wide-eyed before just staring at the floor. His mouth dropped. I put my hand on this shoulder.

Eliza- Are you ok?

Philip- I don't know.

Eliza- But hey. Think about it this way: after you die, you will have more lives! How fun is that...?

He doesn't say anything. He just looks ahead. I hug him. A nine year old shouldn't be learning about this. I really wanted to wait until he was at least 12 years old. But, of coarse, that stupid grumpy John Adams blurted it out in from of him. Luckily, he soon hugs back.

Philip- What's the future like?

I laugh a little. The first question he has, and it gets right to the point.

Eliza- Let's just say, that it's so much simpler than here. More rights towards people.

Philip- That sounds nice.

I laugh again and we tighten our hug more. Well, one kid down, 3 more. Maybe the next few will be different. After a few minutes, we head downstairs to join the others for breakfast.

Peggy- ...so I was like "How dare you!" And Professor Pork said "Well, that's what you get for eating my relatives." Then I was all like NOOOO and he was all like YESSS and then Princess Peach came down from the sky's and blasted him with a lazer gun! How cool is that?

Eliza- Another weird dream?

Peggy- Uhhh yeah!

Angelica- The kids don't even know who Princess Peach is though.

I cough and jesture towards Philip. They look at him. He just gives an awkward smile.

Angelica- Ohhh. OH! Eliza, why?

Eliza- Don't blame me. Blame-

I quickly remembered that Washington was in the room and probably worked with Adams.

Eliza- That... one person.

Washington- Mr. Adams?

Eliza- How... How did you know?

Washington- Well, your husband was at work the other day and seemed angry, so I asked him why he was angry. He said that he didn't trust Mr. Adams around you guys for the whole summer. So, that was basically a hint.

Eliza. Oh...

Washington- So, he talked about "you know what" around Philip.

     I can only nod.

Washington- What else did-

Eliza- Nothing! You don't have to tell my husband anything!

Washington- Well, I'm on a small break, and I'm planning on going back to New York in a month. Would you like to stay here until then and I bring you home, or do you want me to get someone to bring you home today?

Well, I don't know. Go home early and bother my husband, or stay here with the President of the United States and the first known American. Well, I don't know, it's a hard cho-

Eliza- I think we'll stay here. If your ok with that?

He only smiles and nods his head. I can't help but smile back.

This took a whole day to write because I'm such a lazy person 😂
