A loud crash startled my ears,

Someone tackled to the ground.

Shouts, curses and laughing sounds,

Just Two teenagers, fooling around.

Cuts and scrapes and bruises too

And even an occasional bloody nose

Passed off as part of the ritual

That sees the teenager grow.

Raging hormones, they love the thrill

Grow into adulthood, soon they will,

Their shoulders will bear responsibilities,

But for now they can afford to chill.

problem is, as they get older

and reminisce about way back then

all the shit they did to their bodies

will definitely come back to haunt them
