later today Ava and the kids would be released from the hospital. I decided to hire 24 hour security for their safety because of everything going on. I still needed to touch base with her to figure out what the fuck is going. That someones out to get her. I took this as an opportunity to talk since Tre had left last night.
I walked in the room and slid the door closed behind me. Ava sat in the rocking chair with the Lana and looked up at me. Charlie was holding Lane. Charlie put Lane down and excused herself told Ava she'll be right outside if she needed her.
"Can we talk? " I asked her. I reached out for Lana and she declined. I brushed it off.
"What do you want Drew? " she asked with an attitude.
"I want to know what's going on. Like who is after you? I feel like I should know to protect you and the kids. " I said genuinely. I meant what I said. Even though Lane wasn't mine, I didn't have nothing against him. Just the nigga that made him.
"Now you want to protect me? " she sarcastically said.
"Seriously Ava damn! Who is after you?! " I started to get irritated with her. She was being childish to me and I was not in the mood.
"My so called alleged sister Giselle and some tall dude she was with, Giselle is also Tremaines wife. " she stated with her lips turned up. She didn't seem fazed.
"Tremaines wife Giselle, I didn't know she was your sister either. " I said. Damn daddy was a hoe and was most definitely busy. How many damn kids does he have?
"Neither did I until the other night. I just found out about her myself through her but I want to hear it from my fathers mouth. They all were supposed to be up here days ago and the only one that came was Hailey. " she said. That's unusually odd for her people they always come if something has happened.
"That's surprising have you called any of them and did Giselle Eve have a motive? I mean if I found out I had another sibling I would want to build a bond not kill them. " I stated.
Truth be told it was how I felt. I was the only child anyway unless my mom and pops had secret kids out here or something but the way my pops is I doubt it.
"Yeah and no answer. They're both busy or something. I'll try to call them later today once I'm home and settled. I'm just tired right now. And so far as giselle she's upset that my dad wasn't fucking with her but it had nothing to do with me. " she said throwing her hand up.
"Well I want to hire 24 hour security for a while until things settle and a nanny to help you out for a while. " I suggested.
"That would be nice of you. I'll pass on the nanny though I have charlie and I don't really trust people right now. " she said. I nodded and told her I understand. My phone rang and I took it in the hall. She proceeded to tend to the kids and I motioned for Charlie to go back in to help.
When I got far enough I answered my phone.
"Yo. "
"Yeah Drew, I ran a check on that number for you and yo man it's one of your pops numbers. " my dude Peanut said
My dad what the fuck would Lacy be doing with my dads number and how does she even know my dad?
"My pops? The fuck is he up to man? " I said irritated
"I don't know but it's an Louisiana number so I would start there first if I we're you. " he said. I told him I'll hit him back if I needed anything else. I stood there trying to figure out what the hell was going on! I wanted to yell. Is there any fucking body in this mess that wasn't apart of it and connected to no one else!
I thought long and hard. Pops is a drug dealer maybe Lacy on drugs. That was my only logical guess because I couldn't think of any other reason why they would be chopping it up.
I decided to pay pops a visit.
