Chapter 24

After my talk with Drew, I felt he was somewhat sincere. It was cool that he was trying to step up and help out with Lana. Maybe sometime soon it'll be the perfect time to talk about getting a divorce. I really want too still regardless if we had Lana or not. Then there was Tremaine. He was fine, and I loved him dearly we have a great bond and a great relationship but what the hell was I supposed to do with him with Giselle in the middle. Without her in the middle shit would be peachy.
I was in the middle, two men, two babies, one woman. They'll both be stuck in my life forever. Fate chose this road and I really wasn't fucking with it.
I sat with Lana and Lane while Drew took his call in the hall. Tremaine left last night to find out where Kasey has been staying. He wanted her to meet her baby brother. I didn't have a issue with that but I'm sure her mother will. After all she is my niece and could be my step child. I shook my head at the thought. The shit was crazy. I couldn't help but feel like this was all my father's fault. If he would've stopped having affairs and came clean with my mother shit wouldn't even be what it was right now. Now I got random sisters coming out of the motherfucking boondocks. Shit was crazy. And life seemed to take me by surprise everyday with new shit .I was done and it was time I pay the dues that we're due to everybody that owed me.
I decided to call my parents I haven't heard from them since Charlie said they we're coming to visit.
"Hey Charlie have you talked to my parents? " I asked her feeding the baby.
"Not since the other day. They said they booked their flight and everything" she stated.
I picked up the phone and dialed their number, there was no answer. I called again still no answer. I decided to call Hailey she answered.
"Hailey. "
"Yes Ava. " she said sarcastically.
"Have you talked to mom and dad? I thought you guys we're coming up here to see me and the twins? " I asked her.
"I don't know too much about that I haven't heard from them in a couple of days. I talked to Chase yesterday though but I haven't heard anything since from him either. I planned to come Saturday. " she said.
What the hell?
"Ok, I'll see you soon, I'm going to try to figure out what's going on, mom and dad never just not shows up. " I replied. She told me she'll keep a lookout for them as well and hung up. I directed my attention back to Charlie.
"Charlie that night that you saved me did you kill Giselle? " I asked her.
"I shot her ass in the neck if she wasn't dead then that bitch superhuman or something." She seriously stated.
I don't know something seemed off and I had to figure out what.
Drew stepped back in the room and that was it. Drew was perfect. I needed his help his resources. I knew I would regret it later but I had to see what was up with my parents even my brother.
He took a seat.
"Ava I'm going to be gone a couple of days, I got some business to handle. " he stated . I could tell something was up, hell i was scared to ask.
"What's going on now? " I asked him hopping for a straight answer and no bullshit.
"I know you probably don't want to hear it but I don't know if it ties to anything that is going on right now. But when I was fucking with Lacy months back, I seen you leave from her place one day, I shortly went over after and confronted her basically asking her what was going on. She didn't say anything... I started going through her shit and that's how I found out she was pregnant. I threatened to kill her if she didn't take care of the situation. But I found a number too written down and I had my mans from the police station run the database for it and it's my pops number." He stated. Now this was some juicy serious shit.
"Why would Lacy even know your father and why in the hell would she even have his number? " I asked
"That's what I'm going to figure out. They would have no business to even converse unless the bitch was on drugs but I can't really say with all this non sense going on. "He stated. Even though Drew and I weren't on good terms. He felt good to just talk to him without drama. I was still in my feelings that he was bi sexual and actually fucking my lover boy... They we're both fine. But the thought just made me hurl.
"I don't know but she's been missing in action since I told her I was pregnant. That's why I went over there. She must have been pregnant too and left to hide the baby. " I said. I know Lacy and that's most definitely some shit she would do.
"Find the baby you'll find her. If you find her maybe you'll find out why she was contacting your father. " I stated. He nodded at the idea. Then that's when it hit me. Every body has been looking for me maybe I needed to show up. My leg healed up for the most part and my incision was fine.
"True, true. I don't know her last whereabouts. "
"Charlie that picture you showed me not too long ago wasn't she in Louisiana? " I asked Charlie
She nodded yeah.
"There you go that's where you start. But I need a favor Drew. "
He leaned back in his seat and rubbed his beard.
"What? "
" I can't find my parents either, no one has heard from them, they we're supposed to be here. I need to find them. "
Soon as he was about to open his mouth to speak Tremaine busted in
"I can't fucking find Kasey anywhere! No one has seen or heard from her or Giselle. " he said out of breath.
"Giselle we don't know if she's dead or alive after all she did try to kill me and Charlie shot her in the neck. So I don't know about her. So far as Kasey there isn't too many places that she can be. I just feel like we need to find Lacy. Once we find Lacy, I feel like we'll figure everything out. " I stated.
Everyone nodded in unison.
"I know it's hard to work together hence the circumstances. But it's a target out on all of heads right now including the babies. We need to figure out why and who's putting the hits out. I don't think Giselle and Lacy are that smart enough to put it together on their own." Drew stated. Then it fucking hit me! That was it!
"That's it! We are all sisters... Giselle , Lacy, me. Lacy has been missing in action for months then when she went missing.. Giselle went nuts. I knew about Lacy being my sister, but she doesn't know , I found out about giselle through her own mouth. Maybe they're after my parents. But if Giselle doesn't know Lacy is her sister either they wouldn't be after them together someone would have, had to tell Lacy and no one here has had contact with her. So who the fuck is the mystery person at the top? " I asked. We all sat and plotted. And tried to come up with a big possibility.
"Drew maybe you need to ask your father. " Charlie stated.
"Why would my father know anything about any of this? " Drew asked.
"I mean he is the biggest dealer there is in the city right now why wouldn't he know? Plus I used to run into him all the time at the strip club when I used to strip. He's always in Dynamic every Saturday. " Charlie stated.
"Well whatever plan there is I'm in. But I'm telling you Tre if Giselle has done anything to my family I'll kill that bitch and that's my word. " I said seriously. He nodded. He didn't have a choice. My word was bond.
