Chapter 29

It's been hours since Drew and Ava went to go handle business downtown. And i was starting to not get a good feeling about this. They've been gone too long and I was here at the house with all 3 babies. I didn't think this was a great idea being that Ava and Charlie took Lacy's daughter and Lacy would come looking for her soon. So how was I supposed to protect all three kids including myself. Charlie was here but it was 2 to 3 . We we're still out numbered.
I called Ava's phone repeatedly and had Charlie called Drew. No answer. It's been a total of 4 hours now and the babies we're getting fussy. I called the nanny to come in earlier so she could help out. She told me she would be here soon.
After 5 hours of searching and calling everywhere. Drew came baming on the door.
Charlie opened it and the security dude Junior helped him inside.
"What happened? " Charlie asked getting him a first aid kit.
"Ava, it's Ava she's gone, they took her. " he said panting.
"Who took her and where? " we both asked him
He shrugged and cried because be didn't know.
"I don't know, she got a call from her brother and he said her father was in a coma and she needed to get there ASAP. About 10-15 minutes later we got hit by a SUV. I was out from then. She wasn't in the car when I came too. I came straight here because I'm pretty sure Lacy's on her way to Atlanta. We have to hide the kids. Who else do we have? " he stated. I thought long and hard about it and thought about my mom.
"My mother, she stays in Springfield but it's not too far from here it's far enough. " I suggested.
"That's a good idea. Gather up the kids things, tell the nanny to meet us over there and have every last security person at your moms I'll call for extra back up. " he said pulling out his phone.
Shit was getting real now and it just left Drew, Charlie and I right now against who the hell else. I started getting nervous.

"So who's gonna handle the mission tonight? " I asked everyone.
Charlie spoke out. " it'll have to be a change of plans. We want her out the way right? How about we keep her alive and question her, maybe we can find out why and how she's connected to your pops and go from there. And if anyone catches her you don't tell her you know shit play dumb. " she stated.
"I thought we said no prisoners? " I asked
"This is a different case. " Charlie stated. Drew nodded his head in agreement.
I agreed too because what the fuck could I do. Right now it was kill or be killed.

We did as Charlie and Drew stated earlier. We moved everyone to my moms. We figured Lacy wouldn't know shit about my moms and wouldn't expect none of us to be there. We unpacked the babies and Drew paid the nanny to be there for a while including the security people. It was security men on every floor and every walk through, every door just every damn where. My mom felt a little ambushed by the company but she agreed to help for the kids sake. She loved kids and I knew she missed Kasey. After we put a end to Lacy and Giselle, I'll have to find my daughter. It's not safe bringing her back right now.
Everyone and everything was in place right now it was now after 8:30pm and no one has had a word on Ava. No one has heard from her or knew of her whereabouts. I started to think Giselle wasn't dead and she had something to do with it.
I brushed off my thoughts and looked around the house to make sure everything was secure. I was happy I decided to build my mom a safe room when I built this house from the ground up. The safe room was basically a miniature house. It had everything , two rooms for sleeping, shower, sinks, kitchen stove, food etc you name it. It was even sound proof. I did it because I knew one day I would have kids and kids are hard to keep quiet in terrifying moments. That's exactly where we hid my mom and the kids and the nanny with 4 guards in there as well. It was between the walls...
We even bagged different vehicles, more like service vehicles and ditched our old ones just in case someone ran the plates.
We had to play every move safe from now on. A year ago I didn't see myself in this position but here I am because I am in love with Ava. I just hope shes able to see that when this is over.....

Time has passed since we have settled and it was time for the mission. We would have to leave here and go back to our old places, somewhere we know she'll find us... But we had to stick together. We decided on Drew's place.
We had Junior and Mickey take us to the apartment and I already felt sick to my stomach. A lot of people we're getting ready to die over non sense. I was up to none of this but I have two kids to look out for.
We arrived and parted into his apartment we all took a hiding spot with a small caliber gun and each had a silencer. We made sure the shit was set. Now the rest was basically up to Drew to do. If he failed we come in. We had junior and Mickey on stand by just in case she brought back up. But we thought she'll be too furious to do so. It was time to play the waiting game.
