Jaemin was currently frantically searching for his boyfriend, because one; he missed him and two; the older boy was no where to be found.

Meanwhile, Jeno was pushed up against a wall on the deserted second floor by no other than Joy herself. Jeno was trying his best to get the girl off of him but he didn't want to hurt her, he was afraid if he left a single mark he'd get that bullshit about how guys weren't supposed to hit girls, he didn't need that.

He felt horrible because he was supposed to meet jaemin and walk to class with him, but someone had to pull him up the stairs so quick no one even knew what was happening.

Jeno groaned and tried to get the girl off him but she didn't budge, "could you kindly get the fuck off me?" He asked in a somewhat nice tone but joy continued to press her body up against his. "why? I know you're still into me" she smirked and ran her hands up jeno's chest. "Joy stop" he lowered his voice and put a little bite in his tone, she was really pissing him off now. "I'm not into you and I never was" he said and clenched his jaw at her touch. He really wanted jaemin to be here and not her.

"That's a lie, I know you like girls stop lying" she sneered and tried to kiss up jeno's neck but he had a strong hold on her shoulders that was pushing her back. "I never liked girls, I just acted like it" he grunted and used his strength to keep Joys nasty mouth away from him. "I found Jaemin and he's the reason I've been the happiest I've ever been" he said softly thinking of his boyfriend and how much he missed him right now. "That's not how you felt when I told you I wrote you those letters" she smirked and pushed herself up against jeno again. "That's because I was hurt that he would lie to me, I really liked him and it was like I got shot in the heart. But it turns out you lied" he growled and felt his eyes prick with tears at the mention of that horrible moment in time.

Jaemin was still wandering around the halls aimlessly looking for jeno, he had about 5 minutes before he had to get to his class. He was tired and angry at himself for not being able to find jeno but he was frustrated that his boyfriend could just disappear and leave him alone like that.

Jaemin had searched the whole lower floor before almost giving up, that was until he spotted the empty stairs that led to the second floor. He gained some hope and instantly jogged his way to and up the stairs. The second floor was empty besides a few classes here and there but jaemin and jeno didn't have any up there. He thought it was strange for jeno to be up there but he searched the halls anyways.

Joy was practically as close to jeno as she could possibly be, her arms hanging from his neck and her chest pressed up against his. Jeno thought he was going to die right there on the spot and felt a tear roll down his cheek. He had given up on pushing her off of him and slouched against the wall weakly, he was in a bind and didn't know what to do. Should he use his strength and hurt her to save himself or let her be and hurt himself and jaemin?

Jaemin, jeno thought and felt a surge of anger flow through him. "Get off me you whore!" He raised his voice and struggled to get her off of him once again.

That was when jaemin heard that familiar voice and made his way towards it, all he could make out was "off" and "whore". He was severely confused and felt dread build inside of him.

Jeno was still pushing and shouting at the girl but damn was she strong. Jeno was way too frustrated and upset, his body was slowly losing its strength but he couldn't give up.

Jaemin gasped at the sigh of a girl, Joy, up against his boyfriends body and trying to get the boy to kiss her. He felt tears stream down his cheek at the sight of jeno trying to get her off him and suddenly anger boiled with in him. "Hey you slut! Get your ugly ass of my boyfriend before I beat your ass!" Jaemin yelled and stomped his way towards joy and his boyfriend.

Jaemin noticed tears running down jeno's cheek and how weak the boy looked. It seemed as if he used all his strength and the frustration was getting to him. Jaemin instantly pulled Joy off of his boyfriend and pushed her to the ground yelling at her to leave them alone and get lost. He watched the girl quickly scurry off and he turned to jeno with tears in his eyes, the older was crying and slid down the wall to sit on the floor.

Jaemin gasped and felt a pang in his heart before squatting in front of jeno and cupped his hands softly on the older's cheeks. "Jeno no please stop crying" he cooed and wiped his boyfriends tears away but jeno just kept crying and his body started shaking.

"I-I'm so sorry jaemin-ah!" He wailed and his body racked with sobs and jaemin felt like his heart was breaking at the sight. "Jeno no babe, you didn't do anything wrong. I love you" he said and watched as tears continued to roll down the older boys cheeks rapidly.

Jeno laid his legs out in front of him and jaemin felt it to be the perfect opportunity to sit on jeno's lap and pull the boy into a tight hug. Jeno wrapped his arms tightly around jaemin's waist and hid his face in the younger's neck, his body still shaking and tears falling from his eyes. Jaemin just squeezed him tightly and played with his hair to calm the boy down, he whispered sweet things in the older's ear and slowly felt the boy relax.

"I love you okay?" Jaemin said and kissed the top of jeno's head softly, the older lifted his head from jaemin's neck and kissed the boy softly. They pulled away and both smiled at each other softly, "I love you so much" jeno said and placed his head back in the crook of jaemin's neck, squeezing the younger boy closer to his body. Jaemin's heart fluttered and he forgot all about the problems in his life and relished in the love radiating off of the two boys.

Soon the bell rang and jaemin pulled jeno up off the ground and intertwined their fingers before pulling him down the stairs and into their class. He made sure to give the older lots of kisses throughout the rest of the day and report Joy to the principle for harassing his boyfriend. Jeno was relieved that jaemin found him and helped him, he clung onto the younger for the rest of the day. It was as if they switched roles, Jeno being the young and vulnerable one while Jaemin was the older protective boyfriend.

The two were glued to each other for the whole next week and more, never leaving the others sight and always made sure they were touching one way or another. They were happy and no one could change that, not even Joy.

Ahhh I feel so bad for making Joy such a bad person in this book but oh well. Also ayeee look at that angst lmao.

I hope you guys enjoyed and felt as much sadness as I did while writing this :)) but also the happiness as well at the end.
