Also here's my motto for X Readers. If it doesn't fit your personality or looks, just roll with it. I can't make everyone happy, sorry. Enjoy.

Y/N was walking alone, late at night in the city of New York. It wasn't really safe for Y/N to be walking alone at night, worse it was raining. It wasn't drizzling either, it was a full on downpour. Y/N used a newspaper she had found on the ground as a "umbrella,"but at this point it was soaked it might as well had been as useful as using a wet, dripping towel to shade herself from the rain.
All of a sudden Y/N felt the rain stop falling on her even though she could clearly see the rain hadn't stopped. Y/N looked up to be met with a familiar face, Y/N's friend Racetrack. He had his collared shirt overhead both of their heads. Y/N smiled.
"Whatcha doing out so late?" Race asked.
"My shift ran late is all. What are you doing out here?" Y/N answered before asking a question.
"Jus wanted ta go for a walk." Race replied.
"In the pouring rain?" Y/N asked.
"It wasn't raining when I first got out here." Race sighed.
The two walked along the sidewalk, talking about life, and normal things anyone would talk about when out of nowhere Y/N asked a weird question. "So Race you interested in any girls?" Y/N asked bumping Race's shoulder.
"Why ya asking?" Race asked turning a little pink.
"I don't know. I'm just curious." Y/N responded with a smile on her face.
"Well, yeah I's do." Race admitted.
Y/N's face instantly lit up. "Who? Who!" Y/N asked quite curious.
"Dats not important." Race said shoving what Y/N said aside.
Y/N looked at Race, she could tell her nagging was making him uncomfortable. "Well could you just describe her?" Y/N asked.
"Why?"
"That way I can tell if this girl is really worth it." Y/N teased.
Race laughed a little before answering. "Well she's pretty ta start. She has beautiful h/c hair and cute dimples. Not ta mention her e/c eyes. She's got dis smile. It lights up da room-"
"Are you just going to mention her physical features?" Y/N joked.
"Shut up, I's like her for then her looks obviously." Race said.
"Now on ta her personality. She's bubbly, fun loving and sweet. She's also nice ta me. She's comfortable around me. So am I. She's jus. Jus perfect in every way." Race explained.
Y/N thought for a moment, seeing if she could figure out who it was. "Oh don't tell me it's Katherine. Because that would suck considering she's dating Jack."
"No, no, no. It's not Katherine." Race quickly said.
Shoot, that rules out every girl I know he knows. Wait a minute Race doesn't know any other girls other then.
Y/N looked up at Race who was looking in the opposite direction. Y/N smiled brightly. She was almost one hundred percent sure Race was talking about her. Y/N had liked Race for quite some time. He was the greatest person she'd ever met and always wanted to start a relationship with him, but thought that he didn't feel the same way.
"So Race how many girls do you know?" Y/N asked.
"Only two, why ya-"
"And you don't like Katherine so your just left with me." Y/N said looking at Race.
Race looked back at Y/N. Shoot she knows!
"Look Y/N I's jus-"
Race got cut off by Y/N kissing him. It looked like something staged out of movie or musical. Two people kissing in the rain. It seemed to fake to be real, but it was real.
Race ran his fingers through Y/N's wet hair. Once the two broke the kiss they stared at each other, lovingly for a minute or so. "Well we's should probably get ya home." Race said.
Y/N giggled while wrapping a arm around Race's waist. "Yeah we probably should."
Race kissed the top of Y/N's head as they walked towards Y/N's house.
The two of them were totally and absolutely smitten.
A/N Here is a question I must ask myself. Why oh why is this oneshot better then most of the chapters on my xreaders? Ah, whatever it doesn't matter. Thanks for reading.
