A couple days after what happened in the kitchen it was finally time for school Max hasn't eaten in two day and he it looking forward to lunch even though his parent just informed him he had changed schools and just his luck he was going the same school Neil was going to. When Max got to the school he looked around not sure what to do when he felt someone tap him on the shoulder causing him to jump "hey Max" Nile said as Max turned around. "You scared the shit out of me!" Max yelled before calming down.
"Max didn't you say you went to another school?" Neil questioned.
"Yea I did but my parents decided that they weren't going to tell me that they made me switch schools" Max responded sarcastically.
"Hey Max do you know witch class your in?" Nile asked probably wanting to know if him and Max would be in the same class.
"No not yet this school is confusing as all hell" Max exclaimed.
"Come with me i'll show you where you can find out" Nile said grabbing Max's arm causing him to wince in pain and leading him to the class list. "Here we are your..Name should... Be here" Nile said pointing out witch class Max was going to be in almost like fate (or lazy writing) Max was in the same class as Nile. "Come on Max lets head to the line the bell gonna ring soon" Nile said pointing toward the direction they would be going.
When Max and Nile reached the line the bell rang causing a huge rush of kids big and small to rush over to the lines to Max it looked like a heard of animals this caused Max to tense up nobody seemed to notice though. When the heard calmed down the teachers made there way outside to collect there students. Max's class was the last one to go inside and Max didn't understand why in his old school if the teacher didn't come outside for any more than three minuets we would head inside on our own and get into our desks sometimes we'd even have students go over the homework we had the day before. Normal school it weird Max thought as the teacher finally came to bring them inside. Upon getting inside the teacher told us to pick our own seats witch took Max by surprise but before he could question it Nile grabbed his arm again leading him to a desk. "Whats the deal with this school?" Max asked Nile hoping he'd get what he meant.
"Why do you ask wasn't your school like this?" Nile answered with a question of his own.
"No I would have been in trouble the students did a lot at the school a lot more than the kids here do" Max said looking around making sure the teacher didn't notice.
"Wow your school must have been rough" Nile said patting Max on the shoulder before the room fell silent. "Alright class settle down" the teacher said now standing in front of the class. Max sat up straight drawing Nile's attention to himself. "Hey Max what are you doing?" Nile questioned pointing out how if Max was a table he'd be a level table.
"Force of habit" Max responded before the teacher began to speak again. "Alright as today is the first day we will be starting with a game". After the teacher spoke the class broke into conversation before the teacher realized that she hadn't told the class her name. "alright lets bring the focus back so I can tell you all about the game" She said as the class calmed down. "The game well be playing is called name to name tag I want the entire class to know each others names. So this is how the game works after we all introduce ourselves it goes as follows. you say your own name and then another players name there will be a person in the middle who will try to tag you. you are not allowed to say the same name as the person who said your name in short don't send it back to them. Alright lets begin" she said in a way that made it feel like she was talking down to them or she had been teaching younger grads for awhile.

After the game they played they did more useless games or at least Max thought they where useless but not wanting to get in trouble he did them anyway drawing more attention to him from Nile. "Hey Max whats up with you I thought for sure after the first game you'd sit and refuse to play anymore?" Nile questioned in between games. "My parents are really strict about school" Max replied moving on to the next game. About half the day had gone by and it was now lunch time. Because of all the games the class had played they seemed to be all buddy buddy but Max wanted nothing to do with it Nile sat away with the group as well eating his lunch with Max who was on the lunch program. Max ate his food very slowly as he wanted to saver it as he didn't know other than lunch tomorrow when his next full mean would be. Nile on the other hand ate his food quit quickly Max had no idea why until the bell rang telling all the kids that it was time to go outside. Max got up with the rest of the kids not even half way done his lunch taking it and throwing what was left in the garbage before heading outside. Max and Nile just stood there as there wasn't very much to do for sixth graders as any playground would be completely taken over by the younger children.

The school day was oven and that meant that Max had to go home. On his way out the door Nile grabbed his shoulder and asked if I'd like to hang out to witch he responded with "can't today I've got things I need to do" Max answered still walking away leaving Nile to himself. That was weird he sounded scared Nile thought. Max ran as fast as he could knowing his parents where timing him. Not only did he worry he would take to long to get home but he also worried if after his parents where done with him if he'd even be able to make sure he did his chores. Upon arriving home he no sooner shut the door that he got a fist to the center of his face knocking him over onto the ground but little did Max's parents know that someone was standing right outside the door. "You little shit we told you to come straight home after school!" his father shouted striking Max again causing him cry out in pain.

When I was on my way home from my first day of school I was walking by Max's house and saw him running toward the door I decided to stop by and say hi. Upon getting to the door Max had just got inside and I guess didn't see me I heard a large thud and then yelling followed by another large thud and Max! he had cried out was he hurt. At this point I wasn't even sure whether or not I should knock on the door any more when the door flew open.
