Camp Camp Rescue (Dadvid)

Chapter 27

~Max's P.O.V~ 

It was warm when I first started to regain consciousness, It was nice until I noticed a person right next to me. My eye's shot open and I jumped back waking the person. "W-wha i'm awake!" the voice yelled. "Max are you alright?" I looked up to meet the eyes of the voice and it was Preston. I went from panic to flustered as I just got up not responding and walked away, I don't know why I was so embarrassed when I first woke up maybe I just subconsciously hate Preston.

~Preston's P.O.V~

I was very deep in sleep dreaming about my next great show when I felt a the bed shake jolting me awake "W-wha i'm awake!" I shouted before noticing the look on Max's face it was almost heart breaking I felt so guilty. "Max are you alright?" I questioned before we made eye contact, Max's face went from fear to fury before he got up and stormed off, I wanted to follow him to be sure he was alright but I decided to wait to ask until a bit later to give him time to calm down. 

~Time Skip ~ ~Preston's P.O.V~

Throughout the day I watched Max ignore every one not even giving them a glare when he walked away, It wasn't long till I started hearing the camp start to talk about why Max could be acting that way. Some of the kids where saying that David finally called Max's parents, or that Max was getting ready to actually kill someone but I was there when It started when he had such strong fear in his eyes.

~Nikki's P.O.V~    

Max didn't come back to the tent we figured it was because David kept him in the cabin because he was worried. "Hey Max!" I shouted getting no reaction out of Max not even anger I just assumed he didn't hear me. I was going to shout out to Max again when David showed up quickly trying to stop Max I couldn't hear what he was saying but Max just kept walking as if David wasn't even there. "Hey Nikki" a voice came from behind me. "Hey Neil!" I said before returning my attention back to where David was trying to get Max's attention. "What are you looking at?" Neil questioned looking over to where David, and Max were, "Max is broken!" I told Neil but I must have said it much louder than I thought because no sooner did the words leave my mouth did David turn his attention our way. "Great going Nikki" Neil whispered before David got to us. "Nikki did I hear you correctly?" David asked turning his head towards Max. "Did something happen with Max after he went back to the tent?" David's second question made no sense Max didn't come back to our tent last night. David must have seen both mine, and Neil's face because he almost immediately he asked another question, "Did Max not go back to the tent last night?" both Neil and I shook our heads which lead all of us to look at the doors of the mess hall. 

~Preston's P.O.V~ 

I was walking with Harrison, and Nerris to the mess hall when I saw Nikki call out to Max who just kept walking worry crept in slightly until I saw David, I thought for sure David would be able to snap Max out of it, But he didn't Max just walked by David as if he didn't even see him. My stomach dropped I felt awful I felt worse after I heard Nikki say "Max is broken!" my head shot to there direction and the look on all there faces where filled with worry even Nikki who normally would just jump to the next topic of conversation. "This isn't about last night is it?" Harrison asked before Nerris decided to join the conversation, " Last night you say? please elaborate" I froze I had no idea how to respond
