Billie:

"Okay Mr. Armstrong this won't hurt a bit." I opened my mouth wide allowing the doctor to swab the inside of my cheek.

"That's it?" I asked as he transferred the q-tip like stick into a plastic bag.

He chuckled. "Yes, that's it."

"What happens now?" Adrienne asked anxiously.

"Well, Lilly's swab has already been sent in for testing so I'd say a few days tops before we have the results."

"Thank you doctor." I smiled half heartedly.

Adrienne and I walked hand in hand out of the building, taking a short walk around Hollywood Boulevard.

"Oh look at that bag!" Adrienne squealed right before pulling me into a A Dulce and Gabbana store.

"Ugh.. great." I groaned. She threw me an I don't care what you think this is happening look.

"Addie I'm gonna-" I turned around to speak but she was already gone, off at the other end of the store talking to a sales lady. "Go for a walk." I finished, rolling my eyes.

I walked out to the front of the store and lit up a cigarette. I took a few drags while silently praying to some sort of higher being that we wouldn't be here for another six hours..

A dark haired woman with long waves and a pair of large black sunglasses caught my eye. She was a good distance away standing right next to a forever 21 outlet.

Melanie? I thought. I looked back into the large glass windows of Dolce and Gabbana to check on Adrienne, she had a determined look on her face as she inspected another handbag. I took the opportunity to run off.

I started walking quickly before picking my pace up. Her back was facing me I began whispering out of breath, "Melanie! Melanie!" But she wouldn't turn around...

I grabbed her shoulder as I caught up behind her. "Mel what're you..." The woman turned around but it wasn't Melanie..

"No what are you doing!?" She yelled finishing my sentence.

"I'm so sorry.. I just.. I thought you were someone else." I gulped.

Her eyes filled with sympathy at the sight of my sweaty and disappointed self. "Oh." She began. "It's ok. No big deal."

I nodded. "Thank you."

"For what?" She asked somewhat amused.

"For not punching me.. Or anything." I laughed slightly.

She smiled. "She must be pretty." I gave her a confused look.

"The girl you thought I was." She finished.

I nodded. "She's stunning really."

"Well I hope you find her." She winked before moving along.

"Yeah.. Me too."
