*Mel pov*
I dug my nails into my palms as I quietly waited for Slenderman to leave. He stood in the corner of my room and stared at me. The moonlight didn't reach him and he was nearly invisible, but I knew he was there. I tried to keep my breathing slow and steady, but I was getting impatient. Why hasn't he left yet?
Every night he comes into my room and stares at me from the darkest corner. I'm still stuck at the mansion even though I'm ready to go home. At least that's what E.J. thinks. Slendy won't let me leave until I can change into a slender being. I was waiting for Slendy to leave so I could sneak out into the forest to practice turning into a slender being. I've almost got it, I should be able to tonight. It's been four days sence I was taken here and the only beings I see are E.J. and Slendy (but he only comes when I'm "sleeping").
Suddenly I felt his hand on my shoulder.
[Mel. I need to speak with you.] I let my eyelids slowly flutter open and I sat up, rubbing my eyes.
"Can't this wait until morning? I'm tired." I yawned and looked up at him sleepily. He shook his head and sat down on the bed. I moved so that I was next to him. After a few seconds of silence, he finally said somthing.
[I have a proxy that is very injured, that proxy has been.....asleep.....for a week now. Her wound isn't healing very well and she might.........die.] He looked down at me. [This proxy is very important, I cannot allow her to die. She woke up a few hours ago and Eyeless Jack thinks I should take her to the mortal hospital. What do you think?] I felt somthing twist inside me as he talked about his proxy. Was I jelous? Hell yes I was, but I couldn't let slendy know that. If the proxy went to a human hospital, Slendy wouldn't be able to see her very often. Right?
"I think you should take her to a hospital." I felt his surprised aura as I streatched my back and yawned.
[You sure? I thought you hated the mortal hospital.] I looked up at him.
"Yep, one hundred percent sure. You should probaly take her right now." I said quickly as I stood up, pulled him to his feet, and started dragging him to the door.
[Well ok, I'll go.] He dissapeared. I went back to my bed and waited until I was sure he left the house. Then I pulled out my bobby pin and walked over to the door. I unlocked it and snuck out side. After walking for a few minutes, I made it to a clearing. It was the clearing I go to everynight to practice changing. After an hour or so of failed attempts, I was finally able to successfully change. Once I was a slenderwoman, I ran around and used my powers to have fun. That is, untill I was caught. [MEL!!!!????!!!!!]
"Yeah?" I turned to face him. I could tell there were so many things he wanted to say. After a few more seconds of awkward silence, he finally said somthing.
[I took the proxy to the mortal hospital.]
"Oh, how did that go?" He shrugged.
[I don't know, I had another one of my proxys take her in.] I smiled a tiny bit.
"So you didn't use that human disguise?" My smile dissapeared as I rember the nurse that flirted with him.
[No, I can never use that illusion again. It dosent look human enough.] I facepalmed. [Was the illusion that bad?]
"Why would you think that? Your illusion looks too human. You looked like some kind of god!" I threw my hand over my mouth as I realized what I just said. He chuckled.
