*Mel pov*
Proxies? That explains why then look so familiar. I looked back at them. They must be Maskey and Hoodie! I smiled at them.
"Sorry. Forgot, you were his proxies. Maskey and Hoodie right?" They nodded slowly. "Cool, no hard feelings?" They looked back at Slenderman.
"Who is she and why does she look like you?" Maskey asked. Slenderman dropped us.
[She's....] He rubbed the back of his head and looked at me.
"I'm Mel." I held out my hand. Maskey took it and shook it hesitantly. Then Hoodie.
"That doesn't answer my question..." Maskey trailed off as he noticed Slenderman glaring at him.
"I-It It's just *gulp* I-I h-haven't r-really s-s-s-seen a-any other slenderpeople." Maskey squeaked the last word out as he withered under Slenderman's glare.
[and that means they don't exist?!] Slenderman was deadly quiet.
"N-no?" Maskey squeaked out. He was visibly shaking. They hugged each other and looked up at Slenderman with fear in there eyes as tentacles sprouted from his back.
"HEY! DON'T HURT THEM!" I stepped between the two groups, both were shocked.
[What are you doing!? Get out of the way!] Slenderman's shock changed to confusion as I turned around to the two cowering proxies. I nealed down in front of them, making myself as tall as them. They stared at me confused.
[What are you doing? Get away from them, I'll handle this] I ignored him.
"What were you guys doing out looking for him." I pointed over my back at Slenderman.
"W-when s-s-s-Slenderman came b-back f-from his-s trip early. W-we all s-s-scrambled to g-get our assignments d-done. We w-were heading b-back home, t-then we s-saw you." They seemed a bit more relaxed after talking to me. I stood up and turned back to Slenderman.
"See? They're doing no harm. There's no need to yell at them." I crossed my arms. The two behind me stopped shaking and stared at Slenderman from behind my legs.
[Fine! Go home!] He glared at them as they ran away into the forest. Hoodie turned around and mouthed 'thank you' before disappearing into forest.
[I don't need help disciplining my proxies] He directed his glare to me.
"WHAT!? They didn't do anything! You were gonna punish them for no reason what-so-ever." I glared back at him.
[They interrupted us.]
"I found them, all they did was run through the forest."
[They tried to attack you]
"I tried to attack them as well, so they reacted correctly." He obviously wasn't happy that he was on the losing side of the argument. We glared at each other until the sun stared to peak over the horizon. He threw up his hands.
[Fine! Have it your way! Good luck surviving the day.] He vanished. I looked around, the sun was still rising. I still have time. I slenderwalked to Slenderman's tree and climbed up to the branch where my stuff was still stashed. I sighed as I leaned against the tree and fell asleep. It seemed like right when I closed my 'eyes' I felt something poke my face. I woke up and saw Maskey and Hoodie sitting on nearby branches, taking turns poking my face. I swatted away there hands.
"I suppose you have a good reason to wake me up." I grumbled as I sat up.
"What are you?" Hoodie asked. I froze for a second before replying.
"I'm a slenderwoman." I stretched, popping my back. The sun was starting to set.
"No your not, the only slenderfolk are Slenderman's brothers. We know." They crossed there arms. "What are you." I didn't really want to tell anyone, buuuut I need help from Slenderman's brothers, seeing as Slenderman won't help me anymore. These guys might know where to find them.
"If I tell you you have to help me with something." I crossed my arms.
"Seems fair." Hoodie replied.
"OK. I was human, but then I was attacked by Jeff the Killer." I traced the scar-smile with my fingers. "He slit my throat and I woke up later with a scar where the slit was and within the hour I had already turned very pale and could slender walk. By the next night I had completely turned." There jaws dropped and they stared at me with wide eyes.
"Sooo if I remember correctly you have to help me with something." They just stared at me. "Hellooooo? Earth to proxies." They shook there heads in unison.
"Ya what do you need help with?" Maskey asked.
"I need to find Slenderman's brothers." They gave me a confused look.
"Why?" Hoodie asked.
"Hey! I already answered your question. Now you have to help me." I crossed my arms again. They shrugged.
"Fine we'll be back here tomorrow." They climbed out of the tree and ran off into the night.
I jumped out. My stomach played the song of it's people. *GURRRRRUUUMMMBBB* I extended my senses, no one was nearby. What I would give to be human. As I was thinking this I felt my self shrinking and heard a small pop.
