Ok I realized my mistake a little too late. Mel is 14 and Slenderman is like two thousand years old. If I just published this chapter then that means I went back and changed chapter one a tiny bit, making Mel 17. But if I've already published like 20 chapters then you've read the right version. Sorry about changing things up.

*Slenderman pov*

I stared at her dieing body. Blood was seeping through the bandages I applied to her neck. Why do I feel like a part of me will die if I don't save her? After 5 seconds of quick debate I decided to save her. I looked around and saw Jeff's knife. I picked it up and cut my wrist. The black blood flowed out of the cut. I quickly removed the bandages from her neck and pressed my bleeding wrist to her cut, getting my black blood mixed with her red blood. I watched her closely. She was still. I grabbed her wrist and checked her pulse. I held my hand there for a minute before I felt a slow pulse growing stronger. I sighed. The wound on her neck started to heal its self. The realization of what I just did hit me. STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! I glanced back at her. Her face was a shade paler than it was before. I teleported away, back to my tree. I gathered up the small amount of belongings I had gathered from my victims and slender walked back to my mansion. My proxies were messing around in the living room. All of them were surprised at my early return.

"W-what are you d-doing h-home early?" Hoodie stuttered.

[ARE YOU QUESTIONING MY MOTIVES!] I roared in all of there heads.

[CLEAN UP THIS MESS! IMMEDIATELY!] They all jumped and cleaned up as fast as possible. I grabbed one randomly with one of my tentacles.

[WHERE IS JEFF!] Maskey cowered under my power.

"U-up i-in h-his-s r-room." He stuttered. I dropped him and walked up to Jeff's room. I need a "word" with him.

I opened my eyes and groaned. It was night. My entire body hurt. I looked around. I was in an alleyway. I jumped up and screamed when I saw the dead bodies of Troy and Keith. I grabbed my bag and ran away, memories coming back to me. I remembered the fight. The cut. Slenderman. I stopped. Slenderman saved me. Why? How? I felt my neck and gasped. My cut was completely gone. Just a tiny scar was left in its place. I walked back to the alleyway slowly. The bandages he wrapped around my neck were lying in the ground next to Jeff's knife. I picked it up. Seeing as Jeff had my knife, I'll just have his. I held it in my right hand and practiced slashing and stabbing the air. When I was satisfied I ran away down the alley jumping over dumpsters and trash cans. After I jumped over my second full sized dumpster, I realized that's the highest I've ever jumped. I looked behind me. Even though I've been running for only a few seconds, I'd already made it halfway across town. A 10 minute jog in 3 seconds. WTF!? I sat down. Even though I wasn't tired. I thought back to when I passed out. Slenderman was looking down into my face. Then when I came to he was gone. He probably did something to me. I need to find him. I ran off towards the woods, getting there faster than humanly possible. I glanced at the wrist watch I had 'found'. 12:30. Wait. I looked at my wrist closer. It was paler than its normal white. It was almost paper white! WTF!? I ran to his tree calling out his name.

"Slenderman! SLENDERMAN!! HEY!! WHAT DID YOU DO TOO ME!!!" No answer. I climbed up into his tree. For some reason it was much easier this time around. Branches that were almost out of reach were closer. Weird. I sat up in the branches until the sun started to rise. My eyelids were drooping. I leaned back on a branch and fell asleep. It felt like seconds before I started falling out of the tree.

"AAAAA!" I reached out and grabbed a branch. *Sigh* *Creak, groan, snap!*

"AAAAA! OOF!" I hit the ground and landed on my back . *groan* I sat up. The sun was starting to set. I looked at my self in shock. My once long and baggy jeans fit me perfectly and my large baggy shirt was almost too small. I stood up and nearly hit my head on a low-hanging branch. I climbed back into the tree. When I got to the branch where my stuff was stashed I pulled out Jeff's knife. I dropped the knife in shock. My reflection, was not one of me. My skin was 100% white, while my hair had turned black, my lips had disappeared, and my eyes were sunken into my head and were a very pale green, almost white, but the smile Jeff carved into my face was still there, even though it was just a pale scar. I quickly retrieved the knife. I need to find Slenderman.

"SLENDERMAN!! SLENDERMAN!!" I ran through the woods calling his name, hopeing he would come.

*Slenderman pov*

I left Jeff's room. He was asleep when I came in, so I just erased all memories of Mel and took back the switchable. I teleported to my room and put the switchable with my 'trophies' from my victims. I sat down on my bed. I heard something. It was so faint that I had to channel out all other sounds just too focus on this one. It was Mel. I teleported over to where she was, staying invisible to her mortal eyes. She ran by my hiding spot calling my name.

"SLENDERMAN! SLENDERMAN!!" She ran by without noticing me. I stared in shock at her. She had grown taller and her cloths almost looked tight on her. Her once ginger hair was all black and she was as pale as me. She stopped and searched the forest with her eyes. When her eyes passed over me. She frowned for a second but then kept looking. Her eyes were sunken into her head and had turned almost completely white, very light green circles were the only indication that her eyes weren't completely white. She still had the smile Jeff carved into her face, but it had scarred up. She sat down on the ground in defeat.

"I give up, he's not coming for me." She whispered to her self.

"I know he can hear me. He just saved my life, but also turned me into him, it's just so so, URRRG!" She threw up her arms and fell on her back looking up at the star filed sky.

"I wish I knew what to do." She whispered as a crystal clear tear fell from her disappearing eyes. For some reason I wanted to leave my hiding place and go over to comfort her. A second tear escaped from her eyes, then a third and a fourth until tears were streaming down her cheeks, no matter how hard she tried to stop them. They came. I couldn't take it anymore. I got out of my hiding spot and walked over to her. When she saw me she stood up and ran over to me. Her eyes were completely white now.

*Mel pov*

I looked over at the movement that flickered at the edge of my vision. It was Slenderman! I jumped up and ran over to him.

"Where did you go? Why am like this? How am I even alive?" He stayed silent. I hung my head. Why won't he tell me? I felt his hand under my chin as he pushed my head up. I looked into his face. My heart fluttered. The moonlight shone off his pale face. He leaned down a bit and kissed my forehead.
