Revenge

*Mel pov*

    Right when I appeared in the living room I was immediately hugged by five people. I smiled down at my friends, until i noticed someone was missing....

    "MEL!!!!!!" Something ran and jumped onto my back and wrapped its arms and legs around me. "You're back." Dylan out her chin on my shoulder and i looked down at her.

    "Of course." Everyone let go except Dylan. "Uh...Dylan? Can you let me go?" I asked as i leaned down a bit so she could jump off.

    "Nope, I'm never gonna let you go again. You wont get hurt while I'm around." She held on tighter. I stood up again.

    "OK, but you should have at least chose a better spot to hold on to." I replied.

    "Why?" She asked cautiously. I smiled as i slowly extended my tentacles from my back and pulled Dylan off. "What?! No fair!" She pouted as i gently put her down and changed back to a human. Everyone gasped.

    "What? What happened?" I asked to group. Sadie just turned around and ran upstairs and came back down a few seconds later with a mirror. I looked down and my pale face and remembered how i looked in the mirror. "Oh ya, that." I put down the mirror. "Heh, probably should have warned you guys about that. Sorry." I rubbed the back of my neck. Shelby shook her head.

    "No need to apologize, its not your fault. We were just shocked to see you like that." She put a hand on my shoulder. "Now, we still have the rest of the week to do what we want so.....any ideas?" She put a arm around my shoulder as we came up with ideas for what we should do next.

*****Time skip to later on that night***** 

    I tried to keep my eyes open and paced around the room. Shelby was doing the same. We were trying to see who could stay awake the longest.

    "You know you can back out any time and just close your eyes. I wont think any less of you." I said to Shelby, she just snorted.

    "And let you break my streak? Nope, ill just say awake." She replied. It was four o'clock now and i was about ready to pass out but i kept my eyes open. Suddenly i heard a soft thud and i looked over to see that Shelby had fallen asleep and fell on top of Riley. I smiled and did a silent fist pump before the world turned black and i too fell asleep on my feet. I appeared in Zalgo's dream chamber, only it was empty.

    "Hello?" I called out. No one replied. Suddenly i got the feeling of being watched. I turned around and faced a dark corner. In the corner, I could just barely make out two white rectangles before my dream faded to black.

    "Mel? Wake up!" Someone was shaking my shoulders and i opened my eyes. It was Cole.

    "Ya? Whats up?" I yawned and checked my watch. 7:48. I groaned.

    "Can you help me with something?" He whispered.

    "Ya, sure what is it?" I asked as i sat up and stretched my back. I suddenly noticed something was off. Cole and I were alone in the living room. Everyone should still be passed out on the floor, but we were all alone. "Where is everyone?" I asked. A smile slowly spread across his face, not an evil one, a good one.

    "Your dreaming Mel." He said as he walked over to the couch and sat down, motioning for me to sit down next to him. I gave him a wary look.

    "What do you mean I'm dreaming? Who are you?" I asked as i sat down as far away from him as i could manage.

    "I cannot let you see my true form, or know my true name, that would be reckless. Don't worry i wont hurt you, i have no reason to. I just want to talk to you." He looked over at me and smiled again.
