“Holy fuck!” Gavin exclaims grabbing me by the waist as he hides behind me.
The vampire, a tall man with sinew muscle, black straight hair, ivory skin and piercing red eyes lifts a perfect eyebrow at my brother’s hysterics. He’s dressed in all black and I watch in fascination as they once sad looking Shoshanna seems to glow as he wraps an arm around her waist. The two look very much in love, I have to admit.
“What the hell kind of people are you associating my baby sister with, Blackwater!” Gavin yells tugging me closer to him. “First a witch and now this B-movie bullshit!”
I roll my eyes and try to shove my brother off, “Gavin, it’s fine.”
“The hell it is! Your boyfriend is going to feed us to Count Chocula!”
“I’m sorry.” I apologize to the stupidly beautiful couple, “He was dropped on his head as a baby.”
“I was not!”
“It’s fine.” The vampire says with suppressed laughter, “It’s nice to see a human as entertaining as your brother that isn’t in my jaws.”
Shoshanna smacks the guy’s shoulder and glares at him. Awe, they are just adorable. Speaking of adorable. I look over at Tyler and he sends me a wink making my head do this really girly flutter. Oh that making out in car thing is so being carried over later, in our own room, in this mansion.
My wolf licks her chops in anticipation.
She’s proving to be as big of a hoe bag as I am.
I snort, getting back into the conversation. “Yeah well try being related to him.”
“Hey, I resent that!” Gavin snaps pushing me away from him, “You know what go get drained dry your dog boyfriend’s friends, Jane! I disown thee!”
“Oh shut up.” I growl and smack his head, “Grow up and make a good impression for once in your life, Gavin. Cheese and rice!”
“Your right, they are entertaining.” Shoshanna fake whispers to her…boyfriend?
Tyler chuckles, “This isn’t even as worse as it gets.”
“I don’t doubt it.” She replies with a small smile before turning to us, “Shall we head inside? I’m sure you guys are tired.”
I don’t miss the enamored look the vamp shoots her.
Adorable.
“Yeah, that’d be great.” I say with a beaming smile.
Might as well pretend to be excited of staying the night in a creepy gothic mansion with two vampires, a Lycan and one annoying brother. Actually it the last one that has me mentally groaning. I can only pray the bedrooms have sturdy locks because Gavin is not going to get away with the ‘I’m scared of the scary monster, hold me’ ploy. No sir!
“Come on, babe.” Tyler calls with an extended arm, “Gavin you don’t mind getting the bags do you?”
“Yes.”
I glare at my brother, “Stop being a dick face and grab the bags before I sick the vampire on you!”
“Edgar.”
