You seem to be very convinced, Alfie." The demon smirked and the angel felt how his face heated up in embarrassment. Adam had been right, he answered surprisingly fast and dedicated and he couldn't even explain why. "Oh ... Shut up! I am ... Your guardian angel", luckily he still had that as an excuse, "so I will take care over you. I don't know who you made a deal with-""It's not a deal!" He was interrupted by the demon, but ignored that and continued to speak: "- and I will watch over you and prevent you from doing shortsighted and foolish things." "Of course you will ..." The young man was still slightly grinning and Samandriel couldn't hold back the thought how much more it suited Adam's actual body.
Meanwhile Adams – now hazel eyes – traveled across the angel in front of him. The angels he met earlier were all cold and had a lack of emotions but, honestly, Samandriel was different. His vessel was smaller than the average angel vessel and he looked more innocent; not only his face, his whole appearance and behavior were more innocent. He had those angelic moments where he didn't understand something but the difference between him and – for example – Castiel was that Cas seemed confused while Samandriel looked overwhelmed but curious at the same time. His eyes would look at him and he would try to find hints in his face, meanwhile they would light up a bit and he would seem interested. While he thought about the differences between Castiel and Samandriel he realized something else.
"Why are you wearing my shirt?" Samandriel looked down at his own torso and realized that he was in fact still wearing he shirt that he took after his vessels original shirt got spots of colors on it. "Well ... Back then when you locked me ob the attic I leaned against a wall with one of the symbols on it and my shirt got dirty. I thought it would be better to take one of yours than make your furniture filthy too or to walk around shirtless." He looked back at Adam whose eyes inspected his torso, while he seemed to hold something back. "Is something not alright?" The demon shook his head while the dark hair fell in his sight and he pushed it away, looking back at the angels face; but the older one recognized that hidden smile on his lips. Sometimes I wish I could read your mind ... He could clearly see that there was something Adam refused to say out loud; something he refused to tell him, but he had no idea what it was. "Is it a problem for you that I wear it? I could change my clothes if it would be a problem." "No, it's not a problem at all ... Stop looking at me like a puppy." Samandriel never recognized that he had puppy eyes when he tried to understand something, but Adam recognized it, because right now he looked at him in exact that way. And his expression didn't change because right now he had one of those angelic moments, where he tried to understand something. "Adam, I don't understand, why do I look like a young dog?" But the younger one didn't answer him, he just chuckled. "Forget it, Alfie."
"Samandriel."
"Alfieandriel."
"No that sounds horrible."
"If I should not call you Alfie, then I will call you like that from now on."
"Adam no!"
"Adam yes!"
Even thought he had a different body now, he had an expression that Samandriel knew. He was smiling and his eyes had mischievous sparkles in them. And that was the reason why he threw the pillow at Adam. The demon didn't think that the angel would do something like that so he was truly surprised when the soft material hit him in the face. "Huh?" Usually Samandriel wasn't someone that laughed that easily, but when he saw the perplexed and confused facial expression that Adam had, he couldn't hold back a laugh. Now Adam looked even more surprised. "What was that?" He never heard Samandriel laugh before. "I- uhm ... Guess human call that laughing ..." "Yeah, they do ..." Samandriel felt slightly uncomfortable when Adams gaze started to inspect him and his cheeks heated up a bit; the angel did not know that he was blushing right now. But the demon knew it. He saw how the other ones cheeks started to adopt the color 'light pink'. Both were silent for some time, so Samandriel cleared his throat; destroying the awkward silence. "We should inform whomever you talked to, that a part worked ..." "Yeah, we should do that ... But I guess it's better if you enter the dream unnoticed ..." The brown haired male tilted his head in confusion but refused to ask any other questions. He would soon know more; he was sure he would. "Okay ..." Adam nodded and sat back on the bed. "Okay, come on?" "What?" "Knock me out. It's the fastest way to end up in a dream." "Oh, ehm, okay ..." Samandriel crawled over to the demon's vessel and placed his hands on his forehead, using his powers to knock him out.The young angel watched how the other male fell back on the mattress. His light eyes traveled over his new vessel. As an angel, a creature that needed a stranger's body to walk on earth, he should be used to different appearances for the same person, but somehow he couldn't accept this person as Adam. The black hair seemed wrong, the hazel eyes seemed wrong, the voice sounded wrong ... That was not Adam, in his opinion. You have to get your body back, as fast as possible... He sat down closer to the sleeping man and placed his hands on his forehead again and entered the demon's dreams ...
He stood in the dark halls again. It seemed to be the same place where Adam had been haunted by Michael. Why am I here again? He looked around carefully, not seeing anyone at all. I have to find him ... When Samandriel looked around again, he recognized footsteps on the ground. Luckily it was dusty and dirty around him, so he could easily follow them for a while. He did that until he stood behind a corner and heard voices; one of them was Adam's. Not the voice of his new vessel, it was his regular one. When he walked closer he could even see his back. Of course he looked and sounded like he usually did, it was his soul. Now he started to listen carefully:
"It worked; my body is Michael's vessel now."
"Good. Where are you now? Are you still in the bunker?"
The voice sounded familiar, he just couldn't remember where he heard it. It seemed like it was ages ago, but at least he was quite sure that the owner was male as well.
"I'm at home and I used his old vessel for me, so I could have a body too."
"That was a good decision, especially because I am very sure that we will need his old body ... Do you have any ideas where Michael could be right now?"
"No, I have really no idea."
"Well, Adam ...", the stranger was silent for some seconds before he continued his sentence: "I will search for my brother and I will tell you further information when that happened." Samandriel could see how Adam nodded, but he didn't really care. The stranger called Michael his brother; he had to be an angel. In his mind he named every angel he could think of. Even the female ones; not caring that the voice sounded more masculine than feminine. Samandriel tried to look around Adam but he stood right in front of the stranger. Screw you, Adam! I have no idea who could be the person you are talking to, but I really want to know!
"Okay, then we will see each other next time." Samandriel could see how the demon nodded again. "See you soon." Then he started to disappear. He hoped that he would finally be able to see who the stranger was, but it was Adams mind and Adam's dream, so he felt how he was also disappearing. Oh come on! I want to know who it is! But, before he disappeared himself the other angel left; leaving nothing else than bright light that nearly blinded the young angel. Light ...?! An idea started to build itself up in his mind, but he was brought back to reality before he could think about it more.Samandriel sat in the demons bed again, still leaning over him. The young angel didn't even wait until Adam opened his eyes again; he crawled over the man, sat down on top of him and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. As soon as the demon opened his eyes, he saw the angel that started to shake him in anger. "Adam! Don't tell me that you made a deal with Lucifer?!"
