"What are they doing over there?" Samandriel stood close to the edge of the shadow; staring at the two archangels in some distance. Michaels reaction didn't seem to be happy, calm or anything else that was positive when he saw his younger brother. But now they were surprisingly calm while they talked to each other.
"Well, I guess they are talking." Meanwhile Adam was sitting on the ground. He seemed to be calmer than Samandriel was and honestly, the young angel had no idea how he could be so relaxed. "Adam how can you just sit there? The situation is serious! If he fails how are you going to get your body back?" The demon shrugged and leaned his head against the wall. "If he fails I won't get my body back. I mean, I could fight, but I am just a weak demon. Michael could easily kill me. That's not worth it."
"So you just want to accept your fate and would live in a strangers body?"
And again he shrugged. "Probably yes." Samandriel looked at him with a surprised expression. How can he just accept something that easily? The new body doesn't even suit him! Come on, Adam, you need to be more motivated!! Now he turned his head back to his brothers while he shook it in disbelieve. Then he froze in surprise. Lucifer was sitting on the ground in front of Michael. And Michael didn't seem to be conscious. What happened? The young angel stood there in silence and continued to watch them. By now it looked like Lucifer had placed his hand on Michaels forehead. "Why are you suddenly so quiet?" He almost shrieked when Adam stood right next to him. "Don't jumpscare me, Milligan!" He nearly hissed while he continued to look at the other two. "I want to know what they are doi- Adam!" He interrupted his own words when he realized that the demon was about to pass out and he quickly puts his arms around his waist to stop him from falling down to the ground. "Adam!" But the boy was already unconscious. He glared back at Lucifer and really hoped he could explain what happened. I hope he has a good reason to knock him out ...

Luckily Lucifer came back to him quite soon; carrying Michael in his new vessel in his arms.
Samandriel looked up from the ground. He had been sitting on the ground with Adam's torso in his lap for the last minutes, since he passed out. "I hope you have a good explanation for what happened." His voice was cold and distant. He was still not sure if he could trust his older brother. Hopefully he could. Otherwise Adam might not wake up again and that was nothing he wanted to think about. "I have. I had to knock Michael out and I can only swap their bodies if both are not awake." Slowly the brown haires angel nodded. "Okay ... Now, switch their bodies. Adam needs his old body back." Meanwhile his eyes traveled across "Michael". It didn't seem like he injured Adam's body, but he looked like he hadn't slept in a very long time.
"Fine, fine, don't be so impatient Samandriel." Lucifer layed Michael down to the ground - slowly and carefully - before he sat down and placed his left hand on Michaels- and his right hand on Adams forehead. "What are you doing?" The blonde angel looked up in surprise when he heard the harsh voice of the younger one. "I will switch their souls. I have to touch both of them for it?" The devil couldn't really tell why Samandriel was so protective if something was about Adam, but somehow, he wanted to know the reason.
"Why are you always so harsh if I am about to do something with Adam?"
"I simply do not trust you."
"So you trust him?"
"Yes, I do."
"But, Samandriel, he is a demon?"
"I don't care. He showed me that I am able to trust him, so I will."
By now the older one was grinning. The way Samandriel seemed to trust someone after such a short period of time they knew each other reminded him of two other people. "What's so funny, fallen one?" "Oh, nothing ..." He was still smirking while he placed his hands on the peoples foreheads again; closing his eyes slowly. The he used his energy to swap their minds.

It was warm around him. That was the first thing he recognized when he woke up. At first he wanted to open his eyes but it felt too comfortable right now; just lying in the dark and feeling save and warm. Adam slowly moved closer to the thing that was so warm and wrapped his arms around it. It took him some minutes to realize that it felt a bit unfamiliar. It was not a pillow, neither was it a blanket. He slowly opened his greyish eyes, only to look up to Samandriel, who was currently reading. "E-eh ..." Now Samandriel looked away from his book, down to the demon, and smiled. "Adam, you're awake again!"
"Uh ... Guess I am." He slowly smiled back at the young angel. "What happened?" He could see that they were not at the place they used to be before, the place looked and smelled more familiar. "Are we at my house?" The other one nodded. "Yes, we are. Lucifer knocked both - you and Michael - out and switched back your bodies." Quickly the younger one sat up and looked at the angel with wide eyes. "I have my body back?" While he asked he looked down at himself. "Yes, welcome back Adam." And again Samandriel smiled at the demon. "Where is Lucifer? And how did he manage it to knock Michael out that easily?" Samandriel shrugged. "I have no idea, but he said he would tell me when he comes back." Slowly Adam nodded. "Back to you, I guess you should rest a bit. Maybe he will be back soon."

Well, Samandriel had been wrong. An hour later the devil was still not back. But at least Adam was fully awake - and apparenlty also alright - again. Right now he entered the living room and put two glasses and two bottles down on the table. "I guess we shoule celebrate." Samandriel looked away from the glasses and up to the blonde male in front of him. "We should celebrate what?"
"That we're free now. Lucifer deals with Michael, so we don't have to do it anymore!"
"And what do you want to do with this stuff?" He looked back at the table.
"That's wine. It's something humans often drink to celebrate certain days or moments. So I thought it would be appropriate for a moment like this as well!" And secretly he just asked himself the question how much the innocent faced angel was able to take. But that wasn't something he would say out loud.
The angel looked at the glasses, the two bottles and the table for a very long time until he finally decided to agree. "Okay, I guess we could try it out. I am always open to see how other cultures celebrate events."

Too much alcohol, and not enough time, later both males were still sitting on the couch. The difference now was just that they were both drunk. Samandriel had been able to take way more than Adam thought and maybe it hadn't been such a good idea that he tried to challenge the angel to see who could take more and who could drink faster. A reason why it probably was not a good idea was the reason that he was always way too honest when he consumed the right amount. So now, he watched the male angel that was lying on the sofa with his eyes closed in silence, his own head leaned against his own arms. "Alfie, have I ever told you that you are adorable?"
The angel nodded slowly without looking up. "But ... You complimented my vessel and not me."
"Actually I think your behaviour and character is adorable too ..." His heart was beating faster while he said those things out loud.
"Adam ... We do not even know each other for that long. Only for ..." Now he opened his eyes and raised one arm, using his fingers to count. "Two - almost three - weeks." That was the truth and most of the time they were together both had been waiting for Lucifer to show up.
"Doesn't change the fact that I think you are adorable."
He smiled when he heard the angel giggle. "Stop being such a fool! ..."
"I'm a fool? If that is the truth, then I wonder why your cheeks are turning pink ..." He was smirking by now and leaned a bit closer to look at the angel in a better way.
"I just feel warm, that's all."
"I think you are embarrassed." The voice of the younger one sounded humming and he continued to watch the brown haired angel smiling.
"Oh shut up." Slowly he sat up again, supporting himself on his forearms.
"Make me." The demon winked at the angel who watched him in silence for some seconds until he started to laugh.
Adam started to pout. "That's not funny, Alfie."
"Of course it is!" The angel grinned at him. "I mean, what do you want me to do? Punch you?"
"Hmm ... Try out something softer and nicer ..."
"What do you mean? I am sorry but I don't get it."
The blonde one smiled and leaned closer. "Should I explain it to you?"
"Yes please."
"Forget it. I will even show you what I mean?"
"What-" But Samandriel couldn't even finish his question, because Adam placed his lips on the ones of the angel and started to kiss him softly.
The angel sat there with in surprise widened eyes and was unable to move. What should he do now? His brain wasn't working as it should so he had to focus more on the kiss. And, honestly, it wasn't that bad. Actually it felt quite nice. When the taller one pulled away Samandriel looked at him in confusion, but also slightly dazed. "I'm sorry Alfie, I really am!"
But he already shook his head. "No! Just ... Whatever that was, please do it again." He slowly placed his hand on the demons neck and pulled him back down, so they could kiss again ...
