As we entered heartstone trollmarket, jim and Toby stared wide-eyed at it while I gazed keenly at the beautiful crystals along the path.

"this is . . ." toby gasped with wide eyes.

"Yeah," jim finished breathlessly for him.

"Woah" Toby continued.

"pretty much" Jim answered in amazement.

we slowly desended the staircase into trollmarket.

"you live here?!" I asked the trolls enviously.

"trollmarket is the home and hearth and sanctuary for all good trolls" the smaller troll answered.

"is there any way for me to be a troll?" I questioned him eagerly.

he brushed off my comment and continued down the staircase.

"this way my friends" he told us as he gestured towards trollmarket "there is much to see".

"dang!" exclaimed Toby "and I thought the only thing underneath our town was dirt and plumbing".

As we walked around trollmarket the trolls glared at us suspiciously but we ignored them. i took in the vibrant, glowing crystals and wandered around with the others. As we walked Toby took some pictures on his phone.

"stay close" I heard the smaller troll mutter to jim "human feet have never graced the grouond of trollmarket before"

jim just contineued to stare around, spellbound.

"humans?" one of the trolls asked incredulously.

"friends" correctly Aaarrrgghh firmly as trolls continued to glare suspiciously at us.

"this crazy!" Jim exclaimed, "are you getting this Tob's?".

"oh yeah," Toby replied as he snapped another photo "on it".

as we continued to make our way around town I spotted many strange stalls, one sold dead cats, which made me slightly angry. they even had a tattoo parlour where a large blue troll was getting his back tattooed. as we walked around the slowly became more and more irritated.

"check it out!" toby gasped as he pionted out varous rocks and gems "Peridot, topaz and -"

"cassiterite" I finished as I recocnised the black rock he was pionting at.

he looked at me with a surprised expresion.

"I happen to know my gems quite well," I told him confidently "once my sister got a rock collection for her birthday and she wouldn't stop going on about rocks and crystals. at the time it was really annoying but I guess its kinda helpful".

he was about to answer when noticed another gem.

"kornerupine" he continued as he rushed excitedly up to it.

the 'rock' growled and it turned out to be a troll who was obviously not pleased with Toby.

"hi" muttered toby with a nervous smile as he realised it was a troll and not a rock.

"your knowlege of minerals is almost troll-like, tobias" the many armed troll exclaimed as toby caught up to us.

we walked for a little longer untill I started to wonder about whether all the trolls lived in hearstone trollmarket.

"do all trolls live here?" I asked the two trolls.

"trolls travel from afar to our market to find comfort and remedies" he replied as he gestured around trollmarket "you'll find almost anything you need and sometimes, you'll find what you never knew you needed".
