"Dad! Uh.. what's up?" Phillip tried to sound casual. " Hi, Mr. Hamilton." I said. " Y/N! Phillip! There will absolutely be NONE of that! You two are CHILDHOOD friends. I'm not sure if I approve of this." Hamilton scolded. "But dad!" Phillip whined. "Don't 'but dad!' Me. We're going to see Mr. Jefferson for his opinion on the matter." "Mr. Hamilton, if it makes you feel any better, someone tried to kidnap me," (okay, not entirely the truth, but pretty darn close.) "and I called Phillip my boyfriend even though he isn't. The kidnapper wanted proof we were 'dating'" I stopped to do air quotes. " And so me and Phillip kissed, scaring the guy away." I finished. Me and Phillip stared at each other for a second while Hamilton was thinking. " Okay, but still. I think you two are started to become MORE than friends. Phillip always talks about
Y/N, Y/N always blushes around him," Alexander went on and on. ARGH! THIS. IS. SO. EMBARRASSING! Phillip was looking at the ground and smiling. Alexander's speech ended. "Let's go to the Jefferson residence now." He said.
