"Ok, we have to go shopping!" Genesis exclaimed.

I told her about Maddox and I'd date so she hauled me to her car along with Maddox's card that he left with a note saying: Pick whatever you want, love. Wear something fancy. ~Maddox

So now, Genesis and I are at the mall in town going around in different stores. So far she got me some really sexy black heals with a thick choker that sparkles and gold bracelets from a jewelry store.

I also picked out some jeans, shirts, dresses, and shoes. I'll pay Maddox back for everything later since I got them from cheap stores.

After getting those clothes we hauled the bags into the car and drove to a fancy clothing store.

Genesis has went to this store when she had to wear a dress for some type of ceremony the pack had.

She parked the car and we both walked into the building. I stood there completely shocked.

The dresses are absolutely beautiful! From a matte toned color to a vibrant tone of beautiful dresses.

"Ok, ladies the fancy date night dresses are over on that section. Now who's the lucky girl tonight?" The man asked. From what I learned his name was David but he liked to be called Diva instead.

I raised my hand laughed. "It's me. I have a date tonight."

"Well, my lady, what dress are you looking for?" Diva asked.

"Well, something not too over the top because I want him to focus on my face. Something elegant but sexy as well." Yeah, I'm going to get him so damn bad.

Just wait until we get to the dinner part. Since James has a theater room at the pack house Maddox and I are going there first then to dinner.

Diva walked Genesis and I to the racks and gave us time to pick out some dresses.

I settled on colors I knew would make my skin look beautiful with the contrast. I got olive, maroon, black, blood red, and royal blue.

I put the dresses down in front of the dressing room when I saw Genesis walking with bright colored dresses.

I mean I'll do yellow and orange depending on the design but not those other contraptions!

"Genesis." I whined. This was like shopping with my mother again...

"Oh, girl these are mine. James likes bright colors so I got me some dresses." She said with a laugh.

"He is going to scold you for all the money you spent." I laughed along with her.

"Eh, I'll just give him something later on." She said with a wink. I didn't laugh though. In fact I gagged wanting to throw up. I did not want to know what her and James do when they get their freak on.

It's weird...

Anywho, I tried on dress and after dress and they did nothing to complement my skin or figure. I was starting to lose hope on looking good tonight for Maddox. I wanted to see him drool, literally. If he's a good boy tonight, then maybe I'll give him a gift for the other night.

Speaking of which, I don't know how, but I've grown so comfortable with him where I can just look at him and make a random noise. Like a fart sound, then we'd both be laughing our asses off.

I do things that some women would frown at me for with Maddox. Acting silly for example. My mother would always tell me that a man doesn't want a silly woman but I'd ignore it. I'm a funny person it's just my character and if a man doesn't like it then he isn't for me.

If being funny is a "flaw" of mine then oh well. It's a cute one.

I threw the black dress down on the bench in the dressing room with a frustrated sigh. This is going horribly wrong.

I already have the shoes but damn the dress shit isn't even working.

I have one more left and if this shit doesn't look good then I'm going on a date dressed in a garbage bag. Maddox will just have to go with it.

"Octavia, we only have an hour left to get you ready!" Genesis yelled from the sitting area.

Fucking hell alright last dress.

"You better fit me you little bootyhead." I examined the maroon dress. From holding it up it already looks beautiful but I knew not to get my hopes up so quick. The other dresses I had tried on made me look like an older woman. Then some would sag at my waist or be so tight against my hips and thighs that I couldn't walk.

I unzipped the dress and slid it from my legs to my chest. The dress was sleeveless leaving my upper chest and my shoulders exposed.

"Ok, not too much cleavage." I muttered to myself.

The dress was actually very beautiful. It hugged my curves well and gave me room to move. I never believed in the perfect dress until I slipped this one on.

I turned around and the dress did well for my backside. It didn't say at the dip in my back and filled out a little bit to give my butt room in case I were to bend over.

Then there was a slit. Not too high nor too low but perfect. It started from my knee on down.

"Avi!" Genesis called me out of my thoughts.

I walked out of the dressing room. Genesis gasped dramatically. She got slowly got up from her seat and clapped.

"You're wearing that dress. Maddox is gonna flip when he sees you." She squealed and rushed me back into the dressing room making me laugh.

She changed from the sweet innocent girl to a dirty mouthed and funny friend in 24 hours. Yep, I definitely see why her and James clicked.

After paying for the dress, Genesis and I drove back to the house blasting music in the car.

Her and I rushed to the room and laid out my outfit on the bed and dragged our bags upstairs. Genesis ran to put the makeup together when the movie is over.

Just as I closed my door I bumped into a hard chest.

"Oh, I was just coming to see you." Maddox says. He wraps his arms around my body in a hug and pressed my face against his chest.

"How was you day?" I asked him.

"Exhausting. I had to be dragged all around by James to all these meetings with different alphas. One of them struck my nerve though. He was an old guy with different women all in his lap." He shuddered in disgust.

I laughed at his face. I grabbed his hand and we walked down stairs to the movie room. I'm guessing Maddox told everyone that he and I would be in here because it is empty.

"What movie do you want to watch babe?" He asks. They had different dvds up to recent movies in stores.

I rubbed my imaginary beard in thought making Maddox laugh. Little did he know, he was in for it tonight.

"Let's watch Red Sparrow." I said.
