Meeting the Guys

I woke up and jumped out of bed and got dressed. I went to the kitchen to get some food, feeling a little awkward just making myself at home. Once I found some food, Elton came down and grabbed a pot and a pan. I was confused as to why he grabbed them and ran upstairs but then I heard him start to bang them together screaming everyone's names to wake them up. 3 minutes later Elton trotted back down the stairs with from what I remember Sam, Colby, Corey, Devyn, and Aaron following behind him.

"Dude, Elton what the fuck?" Corey and Sam complained.

"You guys needed to wake up before 1 in the afternoon," Elton responded. Just then Sam, Colby, and Aaron saw me and just stared. "This is Carly our new roommate," Elton reassured them. 

Just then Aaron stepped forward and started what looked like a staring contest as if he was trying to figure out my deepest darkest secrets. After about 10 seconds he grabbed my arm and ran towards the living room and screamed,  "Interrogation time!" with everyone else following behind him. 

"Okay, questions," Aaron started, "What's your full name, age, birthday, favorite food, relationship status, job, where did you come from, can you cook, and how did Elton convince you to move in and/or did he kidnap you?"

"I didn't fucking kidnap her Aaron!" Elton started to protest.

"Shut the fuck up Elton!" Corey screamed jokingly.

"Well," I started, "My full name is Carly Anne Stevenson. Um... You  can't pressure me to pick a favorite food it's impossible. I have never had a boyfriend in my life. I just graduated high school last year and do not have a job. Before here I lived in New Orleans. If I have the recipe I can cook almost anything. No Elton didn't kidnap me, and I am turning 19 on May 17th."

"Wait a minute May 17th? That's in like 2 days," Colby pointed out.

"Yeah I never really make a big deal about my birthday so," I shrugged.

"That's not an option in this house," Colby smirked, "Wait the real question is are you okay with being in our crazy ass videos doing just dumb shit all the time?" he asked me

"I mean that's a part of living here so of course." I answered. I knew what I was getting into when I saw Elton at my house with a bag full of cameras. 

"Great! Let's film one right now! We can't have our fans sit there wondering 'Hey who's that random girl that we keep seeing around?' ya know?"

"Okay... Sure I guess?"

Colby and Elton leave the room and come back holding a camera and a tripod and sit next to me on the couch. Aaron, Sam, and Corey join. For the next hour we film five different versions of a welcome video for each persons channel. After filming everyone but Sam and Colby left to go edit their footage. Colby was determined to plan me a party for my birthday no matter how much I refused. After 30 minutes of going back and forth I finally agreed to let him throw me a party because "21 is the big birthday". I invited Vanessa to come and she got a plane ticket for the next day. 

"Okay so," he started, "what do we need for a great party?"

"Umm... idk I've never had a great party."

"What? Impossible! If you've never had a great party that means you've never had A party."

"Ding ding ding."

Colby stared at me in disbelief and immediately started looking up decorations and cake ideas.

"If this is your first official party than we need to go big, like as big as fucking possible."

"You can go big I have no idea where to start so you can go as big as you want I'm giving you total creative control."

"Oh my god really?"

"Yea sure whatever."

As soon as he heard this Colby jumped for joy as if it was his big dream to party plan for his new roommate. After he started planning, I decided to go around a talk with the rest of the guys. 

Sam and his girlfriend, Katerina (or Kat I think), were hanging out in the kitchen intently looking at a video on her laptop. Kat looked really mad at Sam and he looked like he was trying to hide something. Probably not the best idea to mess with them. I then went to see what Corey was doing and found him editing his video in his room.

"Hey Corey," I waved to him.

"Hey what's up?" He answered.

"Just looking for something to do."

"Here's a random question, how did Elton find you and why did he invite you to move in?"

"Oh well funny story actually, my mom was adopted but it turns out Elton is her brother."

"Wait so uncle Elton is actually... Uncle Elton?"

"Yep pretty much... Why do you guys call him uncle?"

"His beard makes him  look like an uncle."

"Interesting."

"Yea but he was also appointed as chief when we went to  a tribe thing so now he is chief uncle Elton."

"Okay well this has been fun but I'm going to go shopping."

"Alright have fun!"

I left Corey's room and got Elton to let me use his car to go shopping. I drove down to the store and went around looking for stuff that I need. I'm happy that Vanessa is coming tomorrow but I'm kind of afraid to see what Colby doe for my birthday. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
