Meeting Brennen

[Over 100 reads boiiii. (I know that's not a big deal for most people but it's still a milestone for me so.. yea]

Determined to blow off some steam with the whole "Kat thing" the house decided to take a trip to the Carribiean. Aaron and jake were being babies and decided not to go to "watch the dogs". Like losers.  

"Jake come onnnnn!" I begged him

"No way I don't feel like going to a place that is famous for pirates and deadly bugs and diseases."

"Oh my god seriously? There are hardly any pirates, there are shots for the diseases, and we aren't going exploring the deep jungle."

"Hey! What do you mean. Of course we're exploring the jungle," Colby chimed in.

"Well I'll stay at the hotel and, 'watch our stuff'."

"See! It's a good excuse!"

"No it's not. Carly let's go. Escape from the betrayer!" Colby ran up beside me and scooped me up bridal style and ran towards the car.

"You know I can walk right?"

"Well now that the world knows we're dating I get to be as cringy as I want," he said as he leaned in and kissed me. He put me down and walked over to where Sam and Elton were packing the car. "So, is everyone ready?" he asked them.

"Pretty much," Elton started, "As soon as we finish packing my car we will be off to the airport."

"What time is our flight?" I asked him.

"3 and a half hours from now."

"Okay, I'm going to go make sure I didn't forget something because I most likely did."

"I'll come with you," Colby told me. We started to walk away and I kept looking at him, "What?" he asked me.

"You know you're like a puppy I rescued on the street and now you wont stop following me," I joked.

"Hey there are LA creeps everywhere and I need to be protective of my girl!"

"In our house?"

"Hey you never know," He hugged me from behind and kissed me on the cheek.

I walked into our room to make sure I didn't forget anything when Elton called us down telling us he was ready to go.

"Oh yea and Brennen is coming too," Colby told me. 

"Great! I can finally meet your boyfriend."

"Yea don't worry about it if I decide to run away and go marry him while we are there."

"Oh no I totally understand you know. You guys have something special, I wish I had something like that," we laughed. He put his arm around my shoulder and kissed my cheek.

"So do I."

We started driving to the airport, me, Colby, Elton, and Amanda in Elton's car while Corey, Devyn, and Sam rode in Corey's car. Brennen was going to meet us at the airport.

We arrived at the airport and checked in our bags. 

"Hey I'll be right back," Colby told me, "Can I borrow your ticket?"

"Okay, why?"

"Just need to check something."

I handed him my ticket and he left to go somewhere to do something. When he got to the gate, Brennen was already wait for us while drinking Starbucks.
