The Adventure

Colby, Sam, Elton, Corey, and I decided to go on a trip to some haunted abandoned high school in Indiana. I really didn't feel like going but everyone in the house would be doing either this or something else so I finally decided that I would come. 

We drove to the airport and waited for about two hours until the plane finally started boarding.

It was an about three hour flight and Colby decided to sleep on me the whole time so I just watched Netflix a bunch. Once we landed, I woke Colby and we got off the plane.

"Okay guys where do you want to go eat later?" Elton asked us all.

"I don't care as long as we get to eat," I told him.

"Pretty much all places have the same main food items on the menu so it really doesn't matter." Sam said.

"Okay so lets just get the rooms and go get ready," Elton started, " So how many rooms? Four?"

"Two singles and two doubles?"

"Yea. I call sharing a room with Sam!" Elton called.

"You're sticking me with Aaron?" Jake complained.

"Sorry dude I like organization."

"To be fair I'm pretty messy too so I guess that's fair." 

We bought the rooms and Colby and I went up to our room to get ready for dinner. The plan was that after dinner we would all drive down to the high school and explore. I took a shower and started to brush my hair when Colby called me back to the room.

"Carly!" He called.

"What?" I yelled back while walking to the bedroom.

"I found a new thing about the school."

"Oh great because I need more selling on a haunted, abandoned, run down, old high school."

"I know right! This place is just getting better and better! Anyways it turns out that back when the school first became abandoned cults use to do sacrifice and summoning rituals here."

"What kind of sacrifice? Please tell me they didn't kill anything."

"Hundreds of animals and approximately..." He cleared him throat. "and  approximately 10 people," he mumbled the last part.

"I'm sorry, what did you just say?" I sat next to him on the bed, hair still dripping. "Did you say they killed hundreds of animals and about ten people? And we are going there in a few hours?!"

"Hey don't worry," He got up and pulled me up in front of him holding both my hands, "It's only going to be for about half an hour and I'll be with you the entire time."

"You're not worried your harem will watch the video and suspect anything?"

"I have a harem?"

"I'm sure one exists somewhere."

"Well whether it exists  or not, I'll just make sure we're off camera if I do anything a good, protective boyfriend would do."

He kissed me on the cheek and went to go finish getting ready. 

"Your hair looks really pretty down by the way!"

"That's only because it's wet it would never stay like this." (I have really curly/frizzy hair just a btw)I went back to the bathroom and finished brushing my hair, got dressed, and put on makeup. Once we were all ready, we met in the lobby and went to dinner. After we ate, we all drove down to the high school and started filming. It was really cold so Colby let me wear his hoodie (just a side note).

"Guys I actually have a surprise for everyone," Colby told us.

"What is it?" Elton asked.

"I think I know," Sam said.

"Sam I'm sure you do." Colby then ran to the car, opened the trunk an pulled out, because what else, and Ouija board. Could this night get any worse? We started walking around and the place was already horrifying. Plants climbing up the walls, rust everywhere, floors falling apart, you name it. Colby was trying as best he could to keep me from freaking out too much and making a run for it. Whenever Elton or Sam had the camera off of us he would grab my hand and made sure I wasn't being possessed by any "unwanted spirits".

"Dude," Colby started, "this is the perfect spot for the Ouija bored."

"And that's my cue to leave, Devyn, baby you ready to go?" Corey was ready to chicken out.

"Corey I will tie this bored to your chest and pin you down if I have to," Elton threatened. 

"No I agree with Corey I think I hear people outside," Corey and I started to back away.

Before we could get very far Elton grabbed Corey's wrists and pulled him back while Colby picked me up and carried me all the way to the center of the room and pulled me to the ground with him. All of us sat in a circle and Elton put the bored in the middle. At first, I refused to touch it at all but Colby took my hand and put it directly on the triangle.

"Okay let's get started," Elton said. We moved the piece in a circle a few times then he said "Are there any spirits here with us?"

For awhile, nothing happened. But about 30 seconds later, the piece slowly started to move.

Okay... Not creepy at all.

"Has that ever happened before?" Sam asked.

"No usually it just says yes or no," Colby responded. "Let's ask it something else."

"Okay um.." Sam started, "Should we be playing this here?"

NO

"It says that every time Sam ask something else."

"Okay fine. Uhh How many spirits are here?

T... O... O... M... A... N... Y...

"Too many people are here? I agree we should go."

Colby rolled his eyes at me.

"When will we die?" he asked it

"Colby that's like the one thing you Don't ask an Ouija bored," Corey complained.

"Whatever."

There was no response so he asked it again. Elton smiled, I knew he was up to something.

"Elton come on that's not funny." I told him.

"Hey I didn't do anything," He raised his hands.

"Elton!" Corey screamed.

"Dude put your hands back on!" Sam said.

"Oh shit I forgot."

Just as Elton put his hands back on the bored, the candles that Sam lit "to make it more creepy" all blew out at once. Someone screamed (I'm assuming Corey because I couldn't see shit). 

"Yo what the fuck?"

"Someone turn on a light!"

"Oh my god. What the fuck is going on?"

Jake and Aaron pulled out their phones and turned on the flashlights. 

"Okay let's just say goodbye and leave," Sam said.

So we said goodbye and sped walk out of the school. We all got into the car and drove back to the hotel. Once me and Colby got back to our room he threw his arms over my shoulders and made me drag him to the bed. I went to get ready to bed and saw Colby passed out. I crawled in next to him, and went to sleep.
