As soon as Nandini left, a fuming Cabir dragged Manik too from there. Manik tried to talk to him but he just glared in return. Soon they reached Cabir's house where Navya opened the door for them.

Navya(smiled widely): Manik bhai, kaise ho aap?

Manik(side-hugging her): I am fine Navya. Tum kaisi ho?

Navya: I am fine.

Cabir walked past her and drank a whole bottle of water in a go. Manik and Navya settled down on the sofa and were watching him. Once he completed the whole bottle, Manik broke the silence.

Manik(teased): Cabir, don't you think aise mood mein beer bottle uthate hai instead of water. Haina, Navvu?

Navya(in a serious tone): Haan bhai. Main bhi yehi soch rahi thi.

Cabir glared at them before shouting.

Cabir(frustrated): How could you be so calm? Tu nahi woh advantage leti hai hamesha tere achayi ka. You are the only heir of Malhotra Industries. And how does she treat you? As a subordinate? Kitna restless tha tu, you were worried for her, right? And she thinks, tu advantage le raha hai. Can't she see even a bit of care in your eyes? Aur tu. Tujhe toh bas uski har baat achi lagti hai. Because you are in louuuuve with her.

Manik smiled at his best friend. He stood up and came to him.

Manik(explains softly): Bol diya jo bolna tha? Cabir, didn't you see her eyes. She cried a lot. Something must have happened nahi toh she won't cry like that. She doesn't let anyone know her pain. And this is her way of hiding her pain from everyone. And what heir, what subordinate? woh apni Nandu hai, Cabir. Hamari Nandu. Don't we know about her? Hum dono mein se koi kisi ka advantage nahi le rahe. We have to understand her, right?

Cabir(pouts): I am thinking about you but you are thinking about her. Mere se woh important hai na tujhe?

Manik(restless): Cabir. Tujhe chocolate chahiye toh seedhe seedhe maang le. Aise bachho jaisa behave mat kar. Woh Pata nahi kis halat mein hogi. Aur main yahan tere saath hun. I need to leave, Cabir.

Cabir(worried): God. I hope she is fine. Ek toh pata nahi kaisi halat bana kar gayi hai. Pata nahi kahan hogi. Come I will drop you home.

Navya(frowned): Agar itna hi care karte ho toh pehle daanta kyun bechari ko?

Cabir(declared): Navya ji, yeh mera best friend hai. How can I not get angry? Aur Manik. Bata de apni boss se, main nahi aa raha kal meeting mein. I am katti with her.

Manik(chuckles): dekh lenge. But for now, just drop me home.

Cabir(nods): ya sure. Chal.

Cabir drops him home. Both sigh in relief as soon as they see Nandu's car outside the mansion.

Cabir(concerned): Inform me if you need any help. Aur jyada daant sunne ki bhi zaroorat nahi hai. Understand?

Manik(mock saluted): ok, sir. I am going now.

Manik goes in and asks one of his butler about Nandu.

Kaka(panicked): beta, aate hi room mein chali gayi. Kisiko bhi aane se mana kiya hai. Room se awaze bhi aa rahi thi.

Manik(nodding his head in disbelief): yeh ladki phir se samaan tod rahi hogi.

As they were talking, they hear some crashing sound. Manik runs to her room. When he opened her door, he saw every single thing broken down and Nandini was searching for something else to break. Manik carefully goes towards her.

Manik(whispered): Nandu.

Nandu(gritting her teeth): leave from here before I hurt you.

He held her by her shoulders tightly, making her struggle to free herself from his grip.

Manik(yelled): toh karo hurt.

Nandu stopped struggling and he loosened his grip on her.

Manik(sternly): If that would calm you down, come hurt me too.

Before he could register anything, Nandu crashed in his chest while he ruffled her hair. After some time, he picked her up and took her to his room. Putting her on the bed, he went out to bring water and also asked the butlers to clean the room. He gave her water which she drank quietly. After a few minutes when he didn't speak anything, Nandu decided to break the silence.

Nandu(tensed): Tum puchoge nahi kuch?

Manik(smiled sadly): Tum bataogi bhi nahi na mujhe?

Nandu(mumbled): Manik. I am sorry.

Manik(holding her hand): it's ok, Nandini. I have promised you years ago that I will wait for you. Wait for my old Nandu to comeback. I have been waiting all these years and I will still wait.

Nandu just looks down.

Manik(hopefully): I know something must have happened after you left for the washroom. I don't want to see you in trouble. Tell me, if there's one.

Nandu nods in a no. Manik gets a message which brightens his face. He immediately brings his laptop and switches it on. He looked towards Nandu who was looking at him with a confused face.

Manik(grinned): Mukti ka message tha. She asked me to come for a video call.

Mukti(screamed): hello lover boyyyyy..

Manik(dramatically): Mukti, mere dil ki dhadkan. Mere jigar ka tukda. Meri.. aage yaad nahi aa raha.

Mukti(scolded): Idiot...sudhar ja. Abhi bhi time hai. Waise how are you? How is Nandu?

Manik(smiled): Everyone is fine. Nandu is here too.

He turns the laptop towards Nandu.

Mukti(calmly): Well hello Nandini. It's been awhile since we talked. How are you?

Nandu(smiled): I am fine Mukti. (To Manik) Manik, I am going to the terrace for some fresh air.

Manik nods with a smile and she leaves. He looks towards her direction.

Mukti(teased): Majnu gayi woh. Ab idhar dekh.

Manik turns and blushes a bit.

Mukti(burst out laughing): ladki ke tarah blush karna band kar. And tell me, what's up with you two. Cabir was saying something.

Manik(sighs): Mukku, kuch nahi hai. (He tells everything in brief). And now Cabir is angry with Nandu because she shouted at me.

He crosses his hands across his chest and pouts.

Mukti(explains him softly): We know right, Cabir is possessive about us. Yaar, Nandu se baat kar. She will be fine. Though she shows herself as rude and arrogant, we know how sensitive she is. Manik, kuch hua hoga. Sit and talk, sab theek ho jayega.

Manik gives her a dazzling smile.

Manik(questioned): Waise, where are you now?

Mukti(excited): Main.... guess where?

Manik(frowns): yaar itna ghumati hai. How can I guess? Tu hi bata de.

Mukti(smirked): Paris. And guess main kis se mili?

Manik(surprised): Dad? Seriously?

Mukti(informs): Haan. He was busy going somewhere. So, we couldn't talk much. Tomorrow I will go meet him.

Manik(raising an eyebrow): Great. Aur koi ladka mila?

Mukti(pouted sadly): nahi yaar. Koi dhang ka hai hi nahi.

Manik(teased): Puri duniya main tujhe koi nahi mila?

Mukti(proudly): Meri image se suit koi nahi kar raha. Acha main chalthi hun. I need to sleep now so. Baad mein hoda sa kaam hai. Aur tu Cabir ka tension mat le. We will handle him later. Nandu ko sambhal lena.

Manik(grinned): Done. Bye Mukku.

Mukti(waving her hand widely): Bye, Lover boyyy.

Manik shuts his laptop and goes towards terrace to check Nandini.
