Afternoon, Nandu's cabin

Nandu was working when there was a knock on her cabin. Glancing at the person for a moment, she casually suggests.

Nandu: I don't think, you need to knock every time you come to my cabin. Anyway, you know my all meeting schedules so you won't be interrupting anyone.

Manik(politely): There might be some unwanted guests right. Let me maintain some professionalism here.

As Manik takes a seat in front of her, she smiles at him.

Nandu: Fine. Tum yahan? Kuch kaam hai?

Manik(grins): Will you come on a lunch date with me? A simple date. Not any of your fancy stuff.

Nandu(teases): Where is your professionalism now?

Manik: What? You are officially my girlfriend now. I can take you anywhere.

He says, as a matter of fact, making her laugh.

Nandu: What about Dad?

Manik(informs): He already had his lunch. Final papers kuch sign kar rahe the before he leaves. He said he will leave for home in some time to pack his stuff and rest a bit before leaving. We can directly go to the airport.

She nods and asks him.

Nandu: Acha, waise kahan jana hai?

Manik looks at the ceiling, a pair of invisible stars in his eyes.

Manik(dreamily): Pizza. You, me and hazaaron pizzas.

Nandu(mocks): So Romantic. Lekin pet dard karega. Give me a minute, let me wrap the things.

Pizza Hut

After ordering, they select a corner table. When their order comes, Nandu gets surprised seeing "I ❤️ U" on her pizza written with a sauce. She looks at Manik and finds him smirking. She rolls her eyes at him.

Nandu: Copycat.

Manik, as usual, jumped to defend himself with his not-so-sane reasonings.

Manik: Maine copy nahi kiya. Look all this sauce will go into your stomach. So, all my love will go into you. Tumhare chocolates toh maine pocket mein daal liye. Mere andar nahi gaye na.

He flashes his teeth at her, victoriously.

Nandu(sarcastically): waah, kya logic hai. You are talking as if you are going to share those chocolates with anyone.

Manik: You. Mera sab tumhara hi toh hai.

Manik runs his fingers through his hair, a smile blush appears on his face.

Nandu(laughs): Manik, you are crazy.

Manik(winks): Only for you.

They have their pizzas with Manik's flirting and Nandu's laughter. Once done, they leave for office. Manik was busy flirting when Nandu laughs off.

Nandu: You don't need to flirt with me, idiot. You already have me.

He stops in his tracks and stops her by holding her hand. Without breaking the eye contact, he speaks.

Manik: This is for keeping you with me.

Given the public surroundings outside their office, she resists her urge to hug him instead, she instead gives an adorable look to him. As it was the lunch break and Manan were out, two of their employees were gossiping audible enough for the entire area. They were so engrossed in their talks, they didn't notice their topic of gossip standing there.
