Malhotra Industries, Nandu's cabin

Nandu was resting, keeping her head on the hand rest of the couch and rubbing her head when Manik enters her cabin. Looking at her, he closes the door, puts the files in his hand on the table. Kneeling down in front of her, he starts massaging her head, startling her.

Manik: Shh..calm down. Main hun.

She relaxes hearing his voice.

Nandu: Manik, you don't have to.

Manik: Shh..quiet. Let me do it.

He keeps massaging her head for some time when she smiles and holds his hand.

Nandu: Bas. I am fine.

She pulls him up and makes him sit beside her. She herself rests her head on his shoulder. He wraps his hand around her.

Manik: Kya hua? Not feeling well? Leave le lo na. I can manage here.

Nandu: I am fine. Just tired.

He kisses her head and they stay like that for a few minutes.

Nandu: Tum yahan?

Manik: I need your signatures.

Nandu: Give me.

He hands her the file and leaves after pecking her head. A few minutes later, there was a knock. Nandu lets the person in and finds the peon.

Nandu: Yes?

Peon: Madam ji, yeh aap ka juice.

Nandu: Maine nahi mangwaya.

Peon: Manik sir ne bheja hai. Aap ko dene ke liye.

Nandu: Theek hai. Rakh do idhar.

He leaves when her phone beeps with a message.

Manik - Because my heart is tired. A fresh fruit juice will keep her energized.

She smiles and drinks the juice. Thereon, the peon gets her a fruit juice for every hour. By the time it's evening, she gets tired and asks the peon to take away. She goes to Manik's cabin.

Nandu: Manik?

Manik: Is it time to home already?

Nandu: Yes. Lekin yeh kya pagalpanti hai, Manik? Every hour a juice?

He starts packing his stuff.

Manik: Because you are tired.

Nandu: I am sick of drinking juice all day.

Manik: How are you feeling now?

Nandu: I don't know. Something about today is too tiring.

Manik: Doctor ko bulaun?

Nandu: No, Manik. Maybe I will be fine after taking a nap.

Manik: Even then if you aren't feeling well, I will call the doctor?

Nandu: fine. Ab ghar chale?

Manik: Shall I carry you?

They leave.

Nandu freshens up and comes to her room when she finds Manik sitting comfortably on her bed and scrolling through his phone. She settles beside him.

Manik: Sleep now.

He takes her in his arms and lies down. Pecking her head and cracking lame jokes, he makes her smile before she drifts off to sleep.
