My alarm finally goes off at six. Enough time for Elizabeth, Erica, and I to get ready for school and take Wes, Leo, and Josiah to their houses to get ready. I finally wake Josiah up after I curl my hair and throw on of course a band t-shirt that I bought last night and a pair of skinny jeans with black converse and just to be more Tumblr like I put on a pair of red suspenders.
“Wake up prince charming.” I say waking Josiah up with the curls from my hair in his face.
“Morning princess.” such a Tumblr morning. “What time is it?”
I look at the clock on my phone its been a half an hour. “Six thirty. C’mon there’s food downstairs.” I say as Katie appears in the threshold of my door. “What’s wrong sweetie?”
“Can you help me with my hair please? Elizabeth tried to braid my hair but it didn’t work. Then Erica tried curling it and I’m going over to Michael’s house after school today and I really want to look good in front of his parents and him.” Katie explains.
“Come here.” I say brushing her hair into a bun and finally placing a bow at the top. “You have a few smudges of make-up I’ll fix that.”
“Boy I think the last time I saw you Katie was when Macy and I had a choir performance this year. What music program are you in?” Josiah asks.
“I’m in band. I play the trumpet.” Katie explains as Josiah gets out of the bed with just his shorts on. “Did I walk in at the wrong time?” Katie points out.
“No, go downstairs I’ll see if we have space in the car.” I say. “Josiah. What the hell am I going to do with you?”
“Love me to death.” he says laughing and throwing a shirt over. A different one than the one he wore yesterday.
We head downstairs with a piece of toast in my mouth and a piece of bacon in Josiah’s. Elizabeth and Wes are standing down stairs waiting for us holding hands. I then throw my back pack over my shoulder. I look around for Katie. She’s no where to be seen.
“Where’s Katie?” I ask.
“Leo and Erica took her to school. You guys better get going it’s a quarter after seven.” Aaron says. We then leave the house. My mom isn’t even home. She must’ve headed down to the salon already. We finally reach the campus of our school. Everyone is staring at me. As if I committed a crime or something. Josiah finally parks the car closest to the building. I step out of the car and someone yells out to me.
“Whore!”
“What the hell was that all about?” Josiah asks grabbing my hand.
“Josiah why are you dating that whore?” a cheerleader named Britney says to him.
“She’s not a whore. What even makes you think that?” Josiah says.
“Have you seen her arms.” Britney says cringing. “Macy show him your wrists that you slit every single night because of how desperate you are.”
