The morning was slow. Seeming as if I went to a crowded theme park and rode all the rides, I would still have enough time to get to school. So after I put on my All Time Low top, black skinny jeans, a light sweater, and converse, I made a small breakfast for all four of us. My mom walked downstairs with a smile on her face for the first time in three years. Katie, she finally ate and when she did, it seemed as if she was finally putting on the weight our coach wants her to. Josiah, what can I say. He tumbled his way downstairs fluffing his hair while throwing on a throw over sweater. Then kissed me before serving himself some breakfast. I would have to say, this is the most peaceful dinner I've had in years. No yelling, no screaming, no rushing. It was peaceful enough that you could here crickets all the way from South Africa.
"Better get going, class starts in forty five minutes." My mom says pinning back her hair with a bobby pin the way she always does when she goes to work. Here comes the life without food stamps. Haven't lived this way on my mom's side in years. And boy, have I missed it.
"Yeah, Charlie and Troy said they wanted to hangout more often." I explain as I take everyone's plate before grabbing my backpack. I grab my keys then grab Josiah's hand before walking out the door with him and Katie.
I can't help but smile. Mornings like this I have yet to have in years. And finally here they are. Its all peaceful. Its comfortably quiet.
I then turn on the radio to one of my CDs. "My anaconda don't,
My anaconda don't,
My anaconda don't want none unless you got buns hun,
Oh my gosh, look at her butt,
Oh my gosh, look at her butt," I gasp covering my mouth then turn down the radio.
"Were you in my car last night!?" I ask Katie.
"Hmph maybe." She says giggling. I glance over to Josiah who is chuckling a bit.
When we arrive to the school which has a huge group. We run over as we try to push through the crowd to see what's going on. "No, stop!" I hear Elizabeth yell.
We run to the center of the group to find Wes beating up Adam. "You don't fucking go for my girl!" Wes yells. Josiah then jumps into the middle of the fight and pulls Wes off of Adam. I then pull Elizabeth to the side.
"What the hell just happened!?" I say not very calm.
"Adam came up to me and told me he liked me. Then next thing I know, Wes starts beating the crap out of him." Elizabeth explains.
"Damn this school is more entertaining than Birch Wood High." Bridget says walking over to us.

That evening, my mom, my sister, and I went over Michael's house for a, meet the girlfriend's family, dinner.
I decide to dress decent since its one of those type of dinners. And according to Katie, Michael's family is one of those, preppy families.

We're at Michael's and when I walked in, it was different than how I imagined. I thought the house would've been one of those small kind of rundown homes that's super fancy on the inside.
No, the outside is has an exotic water fountain with a bamboo tree next to it. The inside, where do I start. White flooring, spiral staircase to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen has an island with a breakfast bar to have a dinner party. Its practically one of those houses that you walk in and they could say sorry for the mess. When really, its cleaner than your house.
I compare Michael to his home. He practically looks like one of those guys who act bad ass but are really just wusses afraid of their moms.
"Come in have a seat. Theresa would you like some wine, champagne maybe?" Michael's mom, Jada, asks my mom as we sit in the living room.
