The pale blue sky eventually morphed into a darker shade, as the crepuscular clouds started to roll in, grumbling while hues of blue painted the canvas. I held the mug close to my lips, staring at the sky from the wide window in my room, pushing the thin fabric away from covering it.

Heaving a euphoric sigh of relief, I watched the vehicles passing by and citizens running around trying to find shelter to save themselves from the downpour.

Then, Peter's face flashed in my mind.

A smile crept across my lips, the tips of my fingers touched my cheek tenderly as I reminisced the scene where he planted a soft peck on my cheek.

I started squealing, making my way to my unmade bed and laid my back against the soft mattress.

Knock, knock.

"Come in!" I said, standing up from my previous position as I brushed my hair with my fingers.

Wanda's head peeked in, grinning at me playfully before slowly shutting the door closed. I raised a brow at her sudden appearance, but her smile didn't falter whatsoever.

"What are you so smiley for?" I asked, turning to her as she sat down next to me on the bed. Her eyes gleamed with excitement, which made me question her even more. "Are you going to tell me or?"

"Y/N," she started. Reaching for my small hands and holding onto it tightly, I started feeling concerned by her weird actions. "Yes?" I slowly said.

Wanda inched closer, her lips brushed past my earlobe and whispered, "This book is officially over."
