Chapter 8

Jay's POV

Its been about a week since i last saw Zariah and Lucas, i hope they're doing alright. Maybe they even started dating like most mates do after a few days when they meet eachother, bust these two, completely different.
"Jay, are you going to make lunch?" asked Liz
"Sure" i replied as i got up to go to the kitchen to make lunch, i had no clue what i was going to make at first until Max spoke up
"Why dont you make a mix of things that go well together, like macaroni and fish sticks" he suggested
"Great idea Max!" i replied as i started making lunch.

"Whats taking so long? Im hungry!" complained Liz
"Almost done Liz, i'll bring the food to you so stay where you are" i chuckled
"Fine"
I tried to rush things but i knew i couldnt or i would screw up like i normally do when i rush things.
I finally finished and took the meal out to her and she looked extremely happy that she finally got her food. I wasnt that hungry so i didnt eat.
Zariah's POV

Its been a week since Lucas took me out on a date, i've enjoyed feeling his comfort around me when i really need him. He's always been there for me and i appreciate it, i think he does too.
"Zariah? You feeling okay? You've been stuck in your thoughts quite alot" wondered Lucas
"Im alright, just thinking what life would be without you and Mireya" i smiled weakly, he walked over to me and hugged me. I rested against him. He felt warm and he didnt really mind that i was resting on him.
Lucas had suddenly kissed my cheek and i smiled.
"I love you" he whispered loud enough for me to hear without himself knowing.
"I love you too" i purred while smiling. Mireya started purring in my mind as he ssid that he loved me but he technically meant us.

Lucas blushed that i had said that, but he eventually calmed down and kissed me. Of course i kissed back, Mireya started purring like crazy and she just looked so happy that i kissed him back. I couldnt focus with her purring and i ended up getting disorientated
"Zariah? Are you okay?" he asked
"Yeah, just a bit disorientated by Mireya purring alot" i whispered feeling tired
He didnt say anything else but he layed me on top of him while i rested Mireya never stopped purring and i started to feel darkness washing over me, Mireya knew what was going on but she couldnt stop purring. I was unconscious in the next few seconds.

"Zariah! Wake up! Its been a few hours since you passed out!" she exclaimed while nudging me
I started to stir awake from her nudging me "What happened?" i asked confused
"You passed out because i was purring alot when our mate kissed you."
"Alright" i yawned. "When will i wake up in reality?"
"In a few minutes" she replied
"Alright" i decided to just lay down on my side and think about what my life could be like in the future with Lucas.

I didnt realize how long i was thinking about me and Lucas because i had woken up and it was about 8 pm, Lucas was still sleeping and i was layong on top of him, i wanted to let Mireya out so she could spend the night as herself and not in my mind but i was stuck in Lucas's arms which i didnt mind much though.
Mireya's POV

Zariah's been getting more and more disorientated everytime i purr in her mind, i think its because im in her mind and that she cant handle me purring for more then 5 minutes, i know the time range will expand soon as but its not fun to see it happening to her. I felt so bad that i was doing this to her but she needed to get used to it.

When she finally woke up to reality she wanted me to take over so i could spend the night as myself and not in her mind but she was stuck in Lucas's arms so she couldnt let me take over unless she got out of his arms. Zariah managed to get out of his grip and she sat on the edge of the bed to let me take over and become myself, so i did.

I layed down and curled up, i felt so happy to be able to sleep in my actual self. It felt nice to be able to sleep like i usually do without having to be on a solid ground. Maybe i could've imagined being on a soft bed but i wasnt sure.

I woke up to see Lucas having his hand on me and him sleeping peacefully, i purred a bit and inched closer to him bit by bit and i ended up next to him, it was so comfortable being with him but i couldnt wait for tomorrow so i could see his wolf again and to celebrate Lucas's birthday. I again drifted off to sleep but i could barely sleep this time, i tried a second time and failed again. I dont think sleep will come to me this time.
Lucas's POV

I woke up to see Mireya instead of Zariah but i guess it was alright, they both looked equally beautiful so i wasnt complaining. But it seemed like she was having trouble getting back to sleep so i decided to scratch her behind her ears and she drifted off to sleep eventually. I thought it was adorable that she needed me to scratch her so she could sleep. After a while i had realized what day it is tomorrow, the day i meet my wolf and the day i can prove that Zariah is my mate to the pack since my sister is their Luna. Thinking about my sister i wonder how she's been. I really look foward to seeing if she has kids and if she does i'll be an uncle which would be amazing.
