Chapter 10

Zariah's POV

At first i thought this was a dream but no. I tried to scratch it off but it didnt work, i tried rubbing it with my hand and it didnt work. I tried rubbing it with a dry towel, didnt work. I tried rubbing it with a wet towel. Didnt work.
"Guys! How do i get this stuff off" i yelled
"I dont know!" exclaimed Lucas
"Well find a way to get it off! I dont want to become a werecat or werewolf!" i exclaimed
"Its on you not me!" he hissed. I groaned and then Mireya started talking
"Youre growing fur on your neck because our mate hasnt surfaced yet" she whispered
"His birthday is tomorrow though!" i exclaimed making my voice bounce of the invisible walls many times
"And if he doesnt surface later then tomorrow you'll become a werecat"
I nodded and returned to reality

I walking into the bedroom and sat on the bed
"Its your birthday tomorrow. What do you really want?" i asked
"To find a way to cure you" he replied smiling
"I already found one. But it has to happen tomorrow"
I felt Mireya trying to talk but i couldnt let her as Lucas Mireya that well and i want to keep her wings and powers a secret so i pushed her to the back of my mind.
"Okay then?" he said almost sounding like a question.
I just layed down on the bed and closed my eyes. I felt myself slowly become more snd more tired by seconds. I heard Lucas whisper "sleep well Zar" then he touched where the fur was on my neck. Then i felt darkness wash over me. I had fallen asleep.

I woke up and heard Lucas whispering to someone, i assume he is on his phone but i dont know.
"Cameron come on, this is your sister we're talking about. Just please come over, you haven't even met her yet" he muttered. My eyes widened in my head but i kept my eyes closed in reality. I turned over to let him know i would be waking up soon.
"I have to go Cameron, Zariah is going to wake up soon. Goodbye" he whispered and he hung up after.
I felt him come back into bed and he pulled me into him. He was warm, comfortable and he was close. I felt safe with him this close.
I opened my eyes to see my clock, it was 4 am. What was Lucas doing up this early? I dont want to question it much other then the fact i have another brother, i fell asleep again but this time i dreamt of me being with my family, my dad, my mom, me, my two older brothers and my two older sisters. I was a family of 7. I just wanted to see them all again but now i knew why i havent met 3 of them. My older sisters moved out of the country and Cameron moved away from the house and Jay stayed untilhe was 18. He moved out and i havent seen him since until the day i ran into him.
My family was shattered. My family was apart. My father in the cells or dead, my mother living in the pack or still in the hospital. Jay living with his Mate. Cameron no where to be found.
They started walking away from me, Jay first. Them Cameron. Then my older sisters. Then my parents, i screamed for them but they didnt listen. I wanted them to stay so badly but they wouldnt.

"Zariah! Wake up!" exclaimed Lucas
I rustled in my sleep then i shot up awake breathing heavily.
"It was just a dream. Its okay" he whispered hugging me tight. I hugged him back qnd Zendaya came into the room
"What happened?" she asked
"Zariah had a nightmare, thats all" he replied. I just rested my head on his shoulder and i whispered "happy birthday Lucas"
"Thanks Zariah" he smiled
"Happy birthday Lucas! I camt wait to meet your wolf!" squealed Zendaya. I didnt know she was the type of person to fangirl let alone squeal.
"Thanks Zen" he chuckled
I got up and grabbed an outfit. I went into the bathroom and had a shower.

"Zariah can you quickly get dressed!" called Lucas. I didnt reply but i got out of the shower and got dressed. I walked out and let him run into the bathroom. I wondered if he was okay
Lucas's POV

After about 20 minutes of Zariah being in the shower i felt a tingle down my back. My wolf was emerging. I ran up to the bathroom door and called "Zariah can you quickly get dressed!" she didnt reply but i assumed she was getting dressed because the water had stopped. A few minutes after she came out and i ran in closomg the door behind me, i then let my wolf take over and he had wings. He was one of the myth's. I was Zariah's mate and i can prove it and the next full moon gathering is tonight which helps me. I formed back into me and i walked out of the bathroom. I walked downstairs and i saw Zendaya in her wolf form
"Hey Zen!" i smiled
"Hey Lucas! Got your form yet?" she asked. I nodded yes
"but you wont see it until tonight. I'll show up in human form then i'll walk onto the stage and transform" i said
"Wont your clothes rip?" she asked
"Yes but i dont care"
"Okay" she sighed
I was excited for tonight to show everyone but i needed to show Zariah first so i walked back up to our room and i saw Mireya sitting on the bed
"Hello Lucas, my name is Damien. Im your wolf" whispered Damien
"Nice to meet you Damien! But is Zariah our mate?" i asked
"Yes. She is, and Mireya is like me but i have to teach her as her mind isnt as strong as mine and she forgets how to fly and use her powers, its very rare for her to remember"
"Okay. But can i let you take over tonight for the gathering and now to show Mireya and Zariah"
"Sure"
I pulled myself back to reality and walked over to Mireya.
"Hey Mireya" i smiled while scratching her behind her ear "wanna let Zariah take over so i can talk to her?" i asked. Mireya let Zariah take over and she looked atme confused.
I smiled and let Damien take over. She gasped and bent down and hugged me.

I hope you guys enjoyed! And im sorry it came out so late, ive been busy. But i have some bad news...

School starts again tomorrow! I dont want to go but i have to!
Ill try to stick to schedule but im not sure. Also some advice for people:
Keep the ones you care about most close by because you dont know when you'll run out of time.
