Mireya's POV
Screams continued to echo as I raced over with Damien.
"Not again! This is the first warning! No no no no no!" I screamed inside my head running faster as I started flying without knowing racing to get there. When we arrived the place seemed fine. Damien quickly raced back as I stayed.
"Ah, Mireya. How nice to see you again" A voice chuckled. It was an illusion. I snarled turning to face Durmada. He has white hair with icy blue eyes.
"You know. Damien ran back but I think he got caught by my minions" He smirked
"No!" I screamed as he held him by his neck. He also had a power dampener on him.
"Let him go!" I screamed
"Mireya, whatever happens. Trust no one but yourself. Stay safe Mireya. I love you" He said and Durmada crushed his neck killing him as I took off running and flying leaving him behind as I cried. He killed Damien. He killed Lucas. He killed my mate. And my mate told me to run. So I am. I'm running away to keep safe. I want to keep the world at peace by not being seen. I flew quicker and into the woods staying hidden.
It's been two days since I've stayed hidden. No one has found me yet which is good. I played in my den trying to ignore the talking outside my den. Next thing I knew Winter and Max was in. Zendaya and Jay's wolf but a cat for Zendaya. I hissed at the sight of them back up with my body in a defensive manner
"Calm down Mireya, Damien is outside," Winter said
"W-what?? No! I saw Damien die!" I exclaimed and I heard a bark and footsteps. Damien. Durmada cast an illusion. I rushed to Damien hugging him quickly.
"I saw you die!" I cried and he hugged me back comforting me.
"Who did you see?" He asked
"Durmada" I sniffed
"He's back?" Damien asked and I nodded stiffly
"Come on. Let's get you back to the house" He said and we walked there as the moon stood high in the sky as we all ran for the house
Damien's POV
The moon seemed high enough for a howl. But I didn't want to as it would give away our location. I ran with the rest of the group next to Mireya as we raced for the house. We were so competitive but we loved each other.
"Snap out of it Damien! Have some fun for the most part!" Mireya smiled goofily as we all ran to the house. Max, Jay's cat seemed to run freely without any worries. Pearl, Katelyn's cat since we found her in the town last night when we arrived here searching for Mireya and Zariah and with Kale, who is Pearl's mate and his person's name is Tom.
I still don't like the guy but Katelyn and Pearl are quite nice. Mireya is just enjoying the breeze as we run or fly for me and her. I heard bells ring as we got closer to the middle of town. Church bells. I smiled to Mireya and she smiled back.
"It's about to snow again!" Pearl cheered jumping around as she ran and we all laughed at her silliness.
"
I forgot how much fun it is to be with friends out here. It's so much better than the pack but I love the pack" Wynter smiled. Zendaya's Wolf. I laughed softly and Mireya ran beside me as I ran beside her. We ran to the house and jumped through the window. Pearl was the last to jump through and as she jumped through she landed on her feet but her back legs flew over her and she ended up in a summersault in the air before landing on her front paws and then falling to the ground making us all laugh.
"Shush!" She huffed and Kale padded over to her nuzzling her softly and we looked away barfing slightly as we deformed back to our people.
Millie's POV
I sighed as I saw all the kids in the pack playing. I feel as though I won't fit in here in my sister's pack where she's the Luna. I let my feet take me away from here. After all, I don't have too much here. Other than my family. I smiled as my favourite song came on. I walked to the sound of it and found a black haired male listening to it in a room that seemed to be a few shades of green. I leaned on the door frame listening
"Seems like it's not just my favourite song," He said.
"I love that song. It's helped me get through tough times" I said and walked in sitting by him.
"My name is Harrison. And you are?" He asked
"Millie" I smiled.
"Nice to meet you Millie" He smiled
"You too" I grinned and I heard a howl. Alpha Liam.
"Alpha Liam!" I exclaimed as I got up running to him outside. I saw Alpha Liam, Zendaya and My mother Kassandra.
"Mom!!" I exclaimed and I ran to her hugging her.
"Millie! Are you okay? What happened?" She asked all at once.
"The Luna killed the alpha of our old pack. The shadows pack" A male said walking up to us. He seemed nice enough.
"I'm Kalliteé. I was the third in command but I never wanted to be in that pack anyways. The alpha forced me into the pack" he said sighing.
"Wait. Who's the Luna?" Kassandra asked
"Don't know her name. But it starts with Z" He said shrugging.
"Zariah. My big sister" I smiled and he nodded
"Yeah her. She's a really good Luna and I'm glad to be here" He smiled and my mom just stood still where she is.
"Zariah is a Luna?" she asked partially to herself and we nodded
"My daughter is the Luna to the Forst pack!" She exclaimed and hugged me as I sighed in annoyance.
"Mom, let me go" I sighed and she let me go.
"Thank you" I smiled and Kalliteé chuckled
"Millie, I think you have an admirer" He chuckled and I turned to see Harrison. I smiled and motioned for him to come over.
"Harrison this is my mom Kassandra. Mom this is my friend Harrison" I smiled
"Nice to meet you Harrison" She smiled
"You too miss Bridges" He smiled.
He's polite. That's really nice. At least he isn't mean like some other kids I used to know.
I smiled at him and he did too.
"How old are you Harrison?" My mom asked.
"14," He said.
"So am I" I smiled.
"I know that sweetheart," My mom said and I smiled.
"How about you go off and do something," she said
"No thanks. There isn't much to do here when you're alone. Unless you have a wolf or werecat." I said and she nodded.
"So, are you a werewolf or werecat?" My mom asked.
"I'm not sure yet because my parents died when I was 7. But I knew that they were either a werewolf or werecat" he said and my mother nodded.
"You could be a mixed breed, but that isn't possible," My mom said and gasps were heard.
"Alpha Lucas has returned with the Luna!" Kalliteé exclaimed. I saw Mireya let Zariah take over and the same for Lucas but with Damien.
"Zariah!" I exclaimed and hugged her as she hugged back. She's been gone for a week.
"I'm glad you're okay" I sighed.
"Of course i am" She smiled and we walked into the packhouse. We took a seat on the couch and few trailed in behind us. I smiled as everyone started to crowd around. It was a true pack and i couldn't be happier to be here with everyone.
