Chapter 6

Zariah's POV
I reached for my door to unlock it and Lucas wasnt there so i walked down stairs to see him at the door that was open revealing a tired Jay
"Jay!" i screamed running to him and hugging him "dont you dare go missing again!"
He just chuckled "i'll try not to get taken again" he sighed
"You'll do more then try Jay! I couldn't stop worring about you!" i yelled
"Zariah, he just got back from where ever he was, i dont think he wants to br yelled and screamed at. Especially since his eard might be sore" he whispered in my ear. "Okay" i muttered "i'll be in my room if someone needs me" i whispered gently as i walked up to my room closing the door behind me.

I thought about letting Mireya surface so she could go running in the woods to stretch her legs and have a bit of fun. But then again i dont know how she would be.
"Can we? Please! I really want to go running!" she begged
I sighed "alright" im not normally the one to give in to being inside her mind but this time i'll let her
I walked downstairs trying to avoid the gazes of the three and i just walked past them and outside to the edge of the forest to let Mireya take over.

Mireya went running avoiding the trees and jumling over tree roots and small logs. And after a while she started climbing the trees and jumping from branch to branch. I have to admit, watching what she's doing seems nice.
Mireya seemed to have enough of jumping and climbing so she walked to a nearby lake to drink until she heard claws raking against a tree log.

"Who are you!" she hissed
"Calm down, my name is Wynter and my persons name is Zendaya. I mean no harm, Zendaya is just looking for her brother and im helping because his wolf is my sibling" she stated
"Alright, but one wrong move and i will kick you out of the city personally" snapped Mireya
"Be kind Mireya, she doesnt mean any harm. She's just looking for her brother. Why cant you understand that?" i asked calmly
She sighed a deep one and pondered her thoughts until she came up with an idea
"Wynter, ill let you stay with me as long as you dont tell anyone who my person is. Okay?" Mireya asked kindly
"Okay"
Mireya had let down her guard to let me take over and i did so making me human and i was lucky to have extra clothing in the area just in case i run into people like i did today so i grabbed the clothing she needed "here, i keep spares around here in case i run into rogues myself" i smiled as i handed her the clothing and she went behind a tree to transform into human and put clothes on
"How do i look?" asked Wynter's person
"You look great" i replied "but how is your cat a cat if her brother is a wolf?"
"Oh well um. She took after her mother a werecat and her father was a werewolf. Her father ended up abandoning them after her father and mother got a divorce and her father found another girl a werewolf and had a baby werewolf boy. Im 20 and he's 15 turning 16 in about 3 weeks" she said
"Okay then, follow me back to the house" i replied kindly as she followed behind me.
"Hey Zariah, who's this?" asked Lucas
"Lucas this is Zendaya. She's looking for her younger brother" i reported
"And i already found him. Lucas cooper Friar, do you know who i am? I used to live with you until i turned 18 and changed pack because of my mate?"
"Zen?" he questioned as he tilted his head
She smiled
"Zen!" he exclaimed before he hugged her tight.
I smiled softly then i ran up to my room and locked the door. I know why she's here! Shes trying to get Lucas to go with her to her alpha's pack! I knew i should've trusted Mireya with her. She was suspicious.
"Hah! For once im right!" she bragged
I sighed "yes Mireya, you were right this time"
"Mate is coming! Better get ready for the news of him moving!" she sang "also, go with him if he allows you!"
I got sucked back into reality and i sighed deeply. Did i really want to go with him? I guess i did a bit
Then suddenly a knock came from my door. I walked over to the door and opened it and i saw Lucas, he walked into my room and sat on my bed. I just looked down trying my best to avoid his gaze.
"Zariah, come sit next to me. Please" he pleaded. I didnt really want to but Mireya forced me to so i decided to just sit down.
"Zendaya asked me if i wanted to move with her. But i said only if you could come with me. I just cant live without you Zariah" he said sweetly, too sweetly i think i could barely talk but i still smiled. I didnt really knoe that i was speaking though, i think Mireya was speaking for me when she said "of course ill go with you." I was lucky our voices sounded simliar or Lucas would have known that it was Mireya talking and not me. I was glad she talked for me though.

I was all packed ready to go the next morning and i was excited the Lucas invited me to go with him. He even said that he couldnt live without me. I was so happy that he loved and cared for me.
"Lucas! Zariah! Down here now! We have to go! I want to see my mate!" she yelled. We both rushed down the stairs with our luggage smiling. Jay took my luggage and put it in the truck and Zen did Lucas's luggage.
"Both of you in the truck now before Liam starts getting mad at me for being gone too long!" she shouted. We all ran into the truck and Lucas sat with me in the back being fair but i didnt really need him to be fair. Then once we had our seatbelts on she drove off towards our home.
"So Lucas, do you like Zariah?" she asked
"Shes my mate, why wkuldnt i like her" he smiled at his words when i just looked down blushing
Zen could see her blushing and she smirked.
I mewed a little bit in embarrassment but i tried to cover it up but i couldnt.
"Did you just mew Zariah?" asked lucas
"No!' i said quickly
"I think you did Zariah" he retorted
"Okay fine i did! But i feel ashamed of it" i looked down away from him while he petted me and i started to lean into his hand and purr. I wanted it to stop but it wouldnt. Mireya took control without me knowing snd transforming into the cat she is. She walked over to Lucas and layed her head on his lap. I was lucky that i was stuck in Mireya's mind because if i wasnt Lucas would've seen me blushing a deep red in my human state.

Almost 3 hours had passed and i was still stuck in Mireya's mind while she happily layed down on Lucas's lap enjoying the attention even though he was fast asleep as well as her.
"Half an hour until we get there guys" yawned Zendaya
Lucas just snored while he was sleeping peacefully and Mireya didnt seem to move a muscle
I sighed thoughtfully and stayed awake as i needed to take back control soon
Lucas had just started to stir awake a bit, he yawned and looked down to still see Mireya and he smiled. He knew i was inside her mind and i could hear him.
Zendaya had just turned up the music to wake Mireya up but it didnt have an effect but it sure had an effect on me and Lucas
"Mind turning it down? Ill wake Mireya up" Lucas explained and Zen turned the music down till it was soft.
"Mireya, wake up" he pleaded as he shook her
Mireya finally started to wake up and realize we were close as she started smelling werewolf scent and werecat scent mixed together.

Mireya moved over to the other side to let me take over and be myself again.
"Yay! I have control again so i can talk and be able to move!" i purred and Lucas chuckled "so cute" he murmured
"Here we are" exclaimed Zendaya as she turned the car engine off after she pulled up into the drive way.
I hopped out with Lucas and we grabbed our bags and we made our way into the living room
"Zandaya! Youre alright! Thank god! I thought something happened to you!" exclaimed Liam.
"I just went to go find my brother wnd apparently his mate" she explained
"Hey! I heard that! I am his mate!" i said as i raised my voice.
"Alright, but Liam. Zariah's cat is from the legend. She has wings and powers!"
"Powers and wings dont exist Zen" he said. I suddenly felt an out burst of rage over me that he said that about Mireya. I hissed at him and let Mireya take over for a bit.
"I am real! I do have powers and i do have wings! And if you dont respect the legends then fine! But all legends are true! Ive read all of them! Ive seen them all because they repeat themselves." she yelled. I took control again while i still could before she turned into a full burst of rage and killed someone.

My phone is driving me crazy! Ive written about 2000 words then about 400 words go and disappear because i didnt save it when my phone restarted. Its done that twice! And i cant be bothered to write that many words again so im just leaving it for the next chapter. And about 1638 words for the story.
