Soulmates

Your emotions were his emotions. His bruises were your bruises. If he had pain, you had pain. Just an average life!

You had a soulmate. Of course, everyone did. If you were sad, he would be sad. If you'd cry, he'd randomly cry. If you were happy, he would feel happy. It depends on what the other person feels. Of course you could have different emotions at the same time, but usually they were related.

It wasn't unusual for a person to cry during class or during a class presentation, that was normal, for some reason. What really weird was that you sometimes felt happy and then sad and then had adrenaline pumping through your veins. It always felt off to you.

You showed up with bruises and just blamed it in your soulmate because you didn't know if he was a criminal or not.

Every day you would hope to find your soulmate. To find your love. The one who has been chosen specifically for you.

That person was Peter Benjamin Parker. Peter usually felt happy, if he had a random emotion. Sometimes sad, he once burst into tears during his Science project. No one has ever seen him weeping so hard.

You were sitting in Math class. Next to your partner, Ned Leeds. He knew a lot about soulmates and how it all worked. You, being a hopeless romantic, were very interested in that subject. "-So when you meet your soulmate, you instantly feel love. Straight away. Even if you don't know the person," Ned explains as you nod your head. "A-And do you think I'll ever meet my soulmate?" You asked a little flustered about your own question. "The average person meets their soulmates around the age of 14 to 17. It could also be 25 which rarely occurs," He explains again and you nod.

"My friend is also looking for hers," Ned begins. "but she doesn't seem as interested as she was before..." He shrugs and continues to look at the teacher who is writing something on the board. "Have you met yours yet?" You ask him. "I've met her and she's... wow! She's wonderful! I mean, she loves soccer but also loves Star Wars and that's so cool! Her name's Jamie and she's amazing!" He rambles on and on about her. "God! She sounds like a great person! Wish someone would say those things to me..." You sigh dreamily.

"Do you maybe want to sit with me during lunch? My friends would love you," Ned says exaggerating with his hands. "I-I'd love too!" You beam and he nods. "Great!"

The bell rings and instantly, you feel sad. Your soulmate is gloomy again. You walk with Ned towards his table with your head down. "I'm really sad all of the sudden and I'm about to shed tears," You say softly. "Damn. What is your soulmate doing,"  Ned asks en you shrug. "Just a second ago I was really excited.. Why is my soulmate sad? I feel rejection in my heart," You start to cry. Everyone looks at you. "I-It's my soulmate," You say and they let out an 'Owww' to then proceed to look away. You started to stop crying a little. Only sniffle.

Ned sees Peter walk in the cafeteria. Very gloomy as ever. He sits down and starts to sniff. "L-Liz said I wasn't good enough for her..." He weeps, now you weep again.

You guys were both oblivious to each other but Ned sees this. He doesn't say anything but smirks at himself. "H-Hi, I'm Y/N btw," You introduce yourself. "My soulmate is really sad and I'm crying now," You say having a blury vision. Not being able to see the boy. "I-I'm Peter and I thought a girl was my soulmate and got rejected," He starts crying making you cry harder.

"I also feel rejection..." You whimper softly. You start weeping until you notice something. You start questioning the Parker boy. "Quick question: Do you have a bruise on y-your back?" You ask softly. He slowly nods. Your eyes widen.

"I also have a bruise o-on my back," You stutter out. Peter slowly stops crying. "A-Are you?" Peter questions and points at you. You stand up and sit next to him. "Do you guys feel the love?" Ned smirks and says in a deep voice. "Shut up!" Peter snaps at him and you chuckle.

You wipe away your tears and hold Peters hand. "I feel something... it feels weird and strange but I feel so happy at the same time," Peter said. You felt the same. "So, wanna go study at my place tonight?" You smile widely.

"S-Sure..." Peter nods shyly. "Okay" You say before pecking his lips. "See you," You say with dreamy eyes at him and leave the cafeteria.
