"I don't know Spidey... I guess it's just that... I like him and I- I don't think he does. Doesn't matter anyway. His fucking psycho ex threatened me to stay away from Peter," You roll your eyes in your suit and scoff. "Y- You're a hero, right? So you don't have to stay away from Peter. You can protect yourself!" Spidey seemed to be really interested in your private life. You didn't mind since you were a pretty open person in general. Well, under the mask because no one knew who you were. "I don't think she's gonna hurt me in a physical way, probably a really bad rumor that Peter will believe," You sigh and look down. You start to think about all the possible scenarios that could happen. "Why would I belie- I mean, Peter believe that?" You knew you recognized the voice of Spider-Man, but chose to ignore it.

You were too sad, but now you were getting suspicious. "Do I know you?" You raised an eyebrow under the mask as the boy in front of you started getting nervous. He fiddled with his fingers as he fake coughed a lot. "N-No..." He stutters out. You pull off his mask and see familiar brown eyes in front of you. "P-Peter? Oh god no... I have to go!" You said quickly and wanted to dig yourself into a deep hole and never get out again. "Y/N- Wait!" He said and before you could take off, he grabbed your wrist and pulled you against him.

"I shouldn't have said anything to you. I'm sorry. I should-" "No," Peter cut you off with a soft tone in his voice. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you about this. I didn't know how to tell you," He looks at his feet. His eyes are full of guilt as the girl he loves stands in front of him. You shake your head fast. Denying what he was saying. "I'm not mad at you for lying," You said to him, making him let out a breath of relief. You start hugging Peter tightly. "I'm just mad at myself for saying all of that and now you know which sucks," You let out a sad chuckle. Peter smiles. It's starting to rain as water droplets fell from the sky. You still kept hugging Peter and he kept on hugging you. You were both in each others arms as you felt comfort in one another.

"Please don't ignore me. I like you too and would love for you not to ignore me at school... or wherever," Peter said as his arms were still wrapped around you. You let out a chuckle and smiled. "Peter of course not. I was stupid for ever listening to Liz and Coraline in the first place... Forgive me?" You pull away finally and look at him in the eyes. He looks right into yours. "Always," He holds out his hand for you to take. You put your hand in gently and he pulled you two closer. Your face was inches apart from his as his arms crept around your waist. You hesitate to put your hands on the back of his neck. It felt so right to do this with Peter. You felt something spark. Something you've never felt for anyone.

"I think I love you, Y/N" He murmurs softly as his eyes flicker from your eyes to your lips. "Goddamnit everything about you is perfect," He said as he smiled at your face which looked a little dumbfounded. Your breath hitched as his face got closer. "I- I love you too, Parker," You say before closing the gap between you two. Your lips touching, in the rain, on a random rooftop, moving in sync. Your hand slowly crept to his shoulders as Peters hand moved to your face to hold it gently.

You were the first one to pull away. "Promise me something," Peter said to you. Your head moved up and down. "Promise me that nothing will become between us," Peters eyes were full of hope after the kiss you two shared. "I promise, Peter Benjamin Parker, that nothing will ever tear us apart," You promise him and lean in to peck his lips once again.

"God, you're so beautiful in the rain,"
