Emptiness.

That's all you could feel and you felt it everywhere. The only thing clouding was your mind. It was full of thoughts you couldn't control. Your heart felt empty, your arms felt empty, your bed was empty... Everything felt empty for you. It was like someone took all of your emotions and ripped it out of your soul. Your body was numb just of the feeling of losing the one person you ever offered your heart. The one person you thought you could trust, has taken your heart and smashed it onto the ground. It hurt. It fucking hurt. You felt like your heart was drowning in it's own sorrow. It could barely breathe anymore. You couldn't hold on any longer. You wanted the pain to stop. You wanted it to end. You wanted to do everything so that this feeling would be gone.

"Peter, what's wrong?" You ask him worried. You were both standing on a random rooftop. Peter scoffs at you as he has an annoyed face. "Peter-" You place your hand on his shoulder but he pushes it away. "Why did you do that?" He asks. His voice soft and broken, but also filled with anger and worry. "Peter- I just wanted to help-" You say, but he cuts you off. "You almost died" His voice was now more stern. You try not to spill any tears. "I can handle myself, Peter," "No, you can't," Peter grits through his teeth as his back faces you. "Peter- You're not the only one with superpowers-" You start raising your voice a little. Peter scoffs. "You almost got shot by that guy!" Peter raises his voice too and turns around to face you. You flinch and take a step back, still making eye contact with him. "I only wanted to help Peter!" You shout, but you sound mostly scared. Peter is unaware of this and makes his voice even bigger than before. "I don't want your help! I don't want anyone's help!" He says, taking a step towards you. You take another step back and look straight into his eyes. You were trying to read his thoughts with the mind powers you had, but Peter knew you too well and just thought about nothing.

"You're not the only one who can fight off these guys," You said to him. Peter scoffs. "Can't you understand that I almost lost you? You almost died because of me! I-" Tears started to form in his eyes. "I can't lose anyone else again," His voice had turned soft. You look down now. Not wanting to meet his eyes anymore. "It's better if we don't see each other anymore," Peter said, holding back his tears. A lump forming in his throat. Your eyes start to water as you bite your lip. Your jaw clenches and you look back up at him. "Fine," You said, trying to look tough but instead your lip trembled before you headed off to your apartment. Before you flew off, you ripped off the necklace he gave you and threw it on the floor. It had a spider emblem on it and it had your logo on it too. Peter looked at the necklace heartbroken and then back at you as you took off as fast as you could.

That necklace. Peter had given it to you on Valentines day. It held a special place in his heart. He went to a local jewelry shop and had it custom made for the both of you. You both had one and you both never took it off. It resembled how strong you both were together and how you both were so happy with each other, until you ripped it off. Peters heart had completed shattered at that moment. He didn't know how to feel, but that necklace was always special to the both of you. Taking it off would mean breaking trust.

Your tears flowed down your cheeks as you laid on your bed. You looked at your suit, which was hanging in your closet. It made you think about Peter and all of the times you sat on a rooftop, just talking to him. He was like your sponge. You would tell him all of your feelings and he would absorb it for you and help you. He would always make you feel better or he would comfort you.

You miss him. Your heart ached for him. You missed his adorable brown puppy eyes, you missed his comforting and warm hugs, you missed the feeling of his lips on yours, you missed the feeling of his fingers playing with the strands of your hair, you missed Peter Benjamin Parker. You could make a list of things you loved about Peter and it would go on for infinity. You loved him. Your heart needed him. You could not live in this pain any longer. You wanted this pain to end. It hurt so much. It was like someone stabbed you a thousand times through your heart.
