~Experience~(n.);an event or occurrence which leaves an impression on someone.
There is a common tie that connects a lot people; the experience of pain. Pain is a universal sensation, and, at times, a shared experience. A moment could change one's life forever. Everything had or hadn't been done, said or hadn't been said is a big factor in what happens in that moment. Life is a pretty ironic thing; it has a way of introducing you to things you want, but keeps it just out of your reach. As one grows and go through life experiences, both good and bad, we as humans always seems to take some form of realization or some truth from each experience. The difference amongst all of us is whether or not we take these truths and make something out of them
"Life isn't about finding yourself, Life is about creating yourself,"-George Bernard Shaw."Good morning Princess," Vivian said drawing the curtains. Adelyn grunted. "No time to waste, we have to make good use of the time we have right now." Adelyn sat on the edge of the bed and stretched. She was still tired, as she could not get a wink of sleep last night till the black sky turned reddish-purple. She spent the time star gazing, and being reminded of the past, which is probably what kept her up.
"We will be working on water for this week," she said handing Adelyn a cup of water.
"Breakfast will be ready in a few minutes so get ready." Vivian said before leaving the room. Adelyn drank the cup of water and rubbed her eyes before getting and going to the wash room. This last week, they had trained in the element air, Aeros taught her moves to help her get better control, this included breathing techniques as well, and by the end of the week, she felt that she accomplished a lot. With ease now she can manipulate the movement of air.She made her way to the main deck, where they were to have breakfast. It was an amazing view, calm water surround them for miles and miles, the sky as blue as the sea.
"I don't think water will be as hard as air." Vivian said making some conversation.
"Yes, your father enjoyed using the element water for the most part, it came to his as easily as learning to walk." Elena joined in.
"Yes, I suppose so" Adelyn said quietly. The thought of seeing her biological father made her heart flutter slightly and it also made her sick. Do I really want to see him? This thought had occurred to her many times. After breakfast, everything was cleared away and both Adelyn and Elena remained at the main deck. The wind had picked up speed a little.
"Now, I want you to do the same thing you did with the element air, except of course, this time you focus on water" instructed Elena. Adelyn nodded. Easy peazy, she thought sarcastically. I guess I'll just have to try my hardest, again.~2 months, 1 week ago~
A week has gone by, and everything was running smoothly. Adelyn had settled in well and through the times spent with Eren they had bonded well and had shared a few moments. Adelyn had come around to accepting him as her possible future husband. As she spent time together with him, she concluded that he was passionate about the things he loved, from the way he talks about his family, she realized family was one of his main priorities, she also noticed that he's impulsive and very determined, especially when his talks about finding Mikasa.
Adelyn recently found out that, both Mikasa and Levi were adopted by Kuchel. They were both found outside the doorstep of Kuchel's house, after her husband ran away and then later presumed dead, Kuchel was asked to move in with Carla and Grisha, along with her children. After they moved, Mikasa and Eren became very close, and Levi spent most of his time alone or with his mother.
When she found out about how Levi was adopted, she felt a little connected to him, though they never spoke since the time at the library. It seemed to her that he was avoiding her. They only met during meals, and even then Levi avoided eye contact. Is he hiding something? She wondered many times. This mysterious aura about him made her more curious about him.
