Minutes pasted, no one said anything. Not a word was spoken in the dry atmosphere that was the castle of lions.
My heart sped up, I did the only thing I could. I ran, I ran toward the Balcony, not to jump, just look, think. I could hear the faint running of a fellow paladin. I sat there staring at the planets moving.
Before I knew it, I heard the shout of my name, I didn't bother turning around.
"LANCE!?!?"
"Lance?"
"Lance..."
I sat there alone, the calling stoped after awhile, the concern the others had wasn't enough to save him, to save him from himself.
I sat there and quietly began to sing,
