Many weeks passed, the trip to earth is coming to a close and the repairs of the teladub is almost complete. Everything was seemingly perfect. The stars in the distances shined, the closer "stars" slowly drifted into the northern hemisphere, it was soothing to watch. The "stars" how they drifted into different directions, how they would move ever so slowly, how the ones in the distance would shine. Star gazing was always one of the youngest McClains favourite activity's back on earth, he loved the feel of the cold night wind on his tanned face, he loved how his universal filled eyes would twinkle with the stars, how he would get his best ideas for songs while sat outside. It was truly beautiful. On some nights he would catch fire flys dancing with the wind, how they would light up the already star filled night. He had one spot, where it was only him and himself only: he missed the overgrown grass that would get squished by a soft turquoise blanket that would always would be bought with him, he missed how the large city of Cuba would look at this one deserted place, he missed how the rose bushes were growing to the south of the field, he missed how the woods would only grow around that one place, he in-fact missed being scolded by his mother for being out so long. He missed home. He was home sick. For the first time since regaining his memory he was homesick. It was the small things that triggered flashbacks, it was the small laughs that brought back old feelings of calm and piece.
Lance sat there, by the window of the castle of lions completely engulfed in thought that he didn't realise a pairing walking in hand in hand. Lance continued to stare out into nothing really, he didn't realise the giggles of Charlie, the girl he had been head over heels for, for almost 2 years of his schooling life; he didn't realise the hot headed paladin cracking a joke for the first time in forever, he didn't realise that they didn't realise he was there too. It wasn't until lance began to feel the heavyweight of his own heart that he noticed the two future lovers in the same room, sat on the outstretched table across the room. Lance looked over there, he didn't realise how much this really hurt him, he didn't realise the feelings he had bought apron himself, he didn't realise that the small things hurt him, it hurt him in a matter of seconds. He couldn't take the pressure of the two in the same room, his heart began to pound, his eyes began to dampen, and it hurt, to see the two laughing happily together. It hurt him. Lance stumbled out of the room, why was he so ignorant, obviously Keith wouldn't feel the same for lance. Lance was the goofball, that's how people still saw him, even after the "step back" as the team would call it. It was all lance could think about at that very moment. All of the progress he had made, to be thrown away because of some boy!
Lance stumbled into his bedroom, tear stained cheeks, his heart carried the burden of everything that went wrong. He didn't care who asked what was wrong when running down the corridor, he didn't care for those he most loved, he had lost all inspiration for anything. Lance turned gripping his shirt where you could feel the pounding of his heart, it was too hot. The boy ripped the shirt off of him, he couldn't breath, he couldn't hear anything. His vision blurred, his eyes soaked. Lance knew he had to get of this some how, he knew he couldn't sit here and panic, however that wouldn't be so easy he was having a panic attack.

Keith sat opposite the stunning girl in front of him, her smile lit up the entire room, her perfect white teeth showing, he loved how her hair would fall in front of her eyes. It was memorising. But something felt off, he couldn't help but feel as though it was wrong, but it wasn't. Was it? Why would it be wrong, what did he do to make himself feel so, so helpless. Keith was so deep into his thoughts he didn't realise Charlie calling for him, it wasn't until charlie grabbed his hand he came back into the room.
"Keith dear, are you okay?" Keith shook his head at the question, but yet replied the complete opposite.
"Oh yeah, I'm brilliant" Charlie sighed at the response knowing it was a complete lie, she flashed a sad smile at Keith, Keith still completely oblivious to the question he was about to be asked.
"You like him don't you?" Charlie asked looking down at her hands, small water drop forming into the corner of her eyes, yet she laughed at her stupidness.
"Who?" Keith asked almost accusingly.
"Lance!, all you do is talk about him, do you like him?"
Keith stared at her, shock and confusion threaded into his expressions, Keith's violet eyes continued to search her looking for an ounce of joke or a jk coming his way. Yet there was none. Nothing came, it was only him, he knew he had to reply, he knew if he didn't it would come out as a yes, but did he? Keith replied a short and snappy "no."
Charlie laughed and replied with "yes, yes you do. And go find him before someone else does." Keith sighed in defeat, and walked towards lances room, yet when he made it. Lance wasn't alone.
