Chapter 8: Rias's cooking.

After getting out of the underground tunnels and fighting Kuroka's little sister Koneko. Issei, Rias and Akeno learned that Rias's former cousin Sairaorg Bael was coming after them. The three of them kept walking for fay and night until said that they should rest for the night.

"Oh my gosh.... finally some rest!" Issei said in pain.

"I take it, you don't walk very much?" Akeno wondered

"Something like that." Issei answered

They get a fire started after a few minutes of rest.

"We haven't eaten in days... at this rate i'll eat Sautéed cactus for all i care. And that's not even served here!" Issei complained.

"I have to agree." Akeno agreed

"Wait... where'd rias go?" Issei wondered

"You're her protector, aren't you suppose to keep a close eye in her?" Akeno wondered

"Crap!" Issei panicked

Issei takes a look around the area and finds Rias hunting some Prickle boars. After watching her hunt for about 1 hour she hauled her prey back to the campsite, while hauling it, issei gave her a hand. When rias felt the boars becoming lighter, she looked back and saw issei helping her.

"I never asked for your help." Rias told him aggressively

"Seemed like you need help. I mean you took down 3 boars by yourself." Issei said.

"..." rias remained

"Take me with you next time. I can't protect you if you stray away from me." Issei suggested

"No, i won't. You'll get hurt again." Rias said

"What do you mean by "again?" This is my first time asking." Issei wondered

Rias realizes what she said

"I'm sorry... when you asked me to take you hunting, i was reminded of my nephew..." rias apologized with sorrow

"Right, he asked you take him hunting. I get it." Issei remembered

They get back to the camp site and akeno was already asleep.

"Great, she sends me to go and find you, then she's the first to sleep." Issei said annoyed

"You get some rest, i'll be back in the morning." Rias ordered

"I'm sorry but i can't obey that." Issei said in denial.

"You're no good to me half dead, now rest." Rias ordered assertively

"No." Issei denied.

"I'm serious, i won't hesitate to eat you." Rias warned.

"I'm your protector. If i'm not by your side, then what kind of protector am i?" Issei reminded

"That is an order Millicas! Now obey it!" Rias yelled in anger

"Huh?" Issei wondered confused

Rias realizes what she said

"I'm sorry... forget that name i said." She apologized with sorrow.

"Millicas... that was the name of your nephew wasn't it?" Issei wondered

"So what? What does it matter to you anyway?" Rias wondered with sorrow

Rias walks away and leaves the campsite. After she left, issei did what he was told and got some rest. Later in the morning, the two woke up to something smelling good, that was when they saw Rias cooking.
