Chapter 37: the birth of Scarlet Crowe.

After running away from everyone, rias decided to hit the road again but, it wasn't long before Sairaorg and vali caught up to her.

"What do you think you're doing Gremory?" Vali questioned

"Running away.... like the coward i am..." rias answered depressed

"Coward? What do you mean by that? You're not a coward. Well... you were in the past but... gah... you know what i'm trying to say." Sairaorg pointed out

"Irina said that betrayed everyone... and she's right. I betrayed all of you... i even betrayed Issei. He may not be here but i know for a fact that i did... i'm ashamed of myself for being a coward and monster..." rias explained depressed

"How did you betray us?" Vali asked

"I went to fight exorcist alone... that exorcist was my father.... when Irina saved me, she was furious as me." Rias answered

"What became of Zeoticus?" Sairaorg asked

"30 years in prison." Rias answered

Rias walks away

"Rias, stop! You and irina need to sort this out, now come back with us!" Sairaorg demanded

"Rias gremory is dead... from now on... call me "Scarlet crowe" that is my new name." Rias told Sairaorg

Rias keeps walking. While dawning her old name, she keep going as "scarlet crowe" as she did, she got to the port. To avoid hurting other people she knew, she took a ferry. Realizing it was going to be a long ride, rias decided to get rest.

2hours later....

"Why do people hate me?" Scarlet wondered

Meanwhile...

"Hey, you two are back." Kiba noticed

"Yeah, and we need to talk to irina." Sairaorg said mad

"Why?" Kiba wondered

"Rias ran away." Sairaorg answered

"What!?" Kiba questioned in shock

"I was a bit surprised too. She even mentioned how Irina called her a coward and how she betrayed everyone." Vali mentioned

After hearing what they told him. Kiba started to get mad and went to find Irina.

"Irina!" Kiba called out

"What? What's wrong?" Irina wondered

"Don't act innocent with me! What the hell is wrong with you!?" Kiba questioned with anger

"What did i do?" Irina wondered

"You made rias run away because you said she betrayed everyone and that you called her a coward!" Kiba explained with anger

"Oh... that..." irina said with uneasiness

"What? Do you not feel bad for what you did!?" Kiba questioned

Someone grabs Kiba's arm and when Kiba looked at who grabbed him, it was Xenovia.

"Stop it. I've had enough of this anger. Irina regrets what she did. I talked to her about it a while ago and she feels really guilty about what she did." Xenovia told Kiba

"It's true." Irina told Kiba

Kiba gets his arm out of xenovia's grasp

"Why did you get so mad at her?" Kiba asked

"I was frustrated at first because she acted like issei. Running off on her own to deal with other problems. Then it turned into anger when i heard her say that she would choose her nephew over issei..." irina answered uneasily

"That still doesn't give you the right to get mad at her." Kiba pointed out

"I know... i feel so guilty. It felt good to get mad at her but now i feel so guilty... and all those things i said.. i shouldn't have said them! Rias, lost so much before losing issei and i just made her feel worse..." irina said with guilt

"Well... what now?" Kiba wondered

"I'm not sure. Rias is probably long gone by now." Xenovia said

"All because of me..." irina said with guilt.

"Well i say, let's go after her! She couldn't have gone far. She must went somewhere, a place she knows well!" Kiba proposed with determination

"You three going after Rias?" Someone wondered

Koneko enters the room

"Who are you?" Kiba wondered

"I'm koneko, kuroka's little sister and if you're going after her, i want to come too. I owe her an apology." Koneko answered while explaining her reason to go with them

"Why?" Xenovia wondered confused

"I saw the past, thanks to this iris gem. I guess i was wrong about Hyōdō. He risked his life to try and get rias back from that fox lady. I got to say, i'm pretty impressed." Koneko explained

"I guess... it couldn't hurt." Irina said with uneasiness.

"Alright then. But where could she have gone?" Kiba wondered

"Some place to be alone... so i'm going guess Aston." Xenovia suggested

"Why Aston?" Irina wondered

"Didn't rias say, that's where issei died and faded away? My guess is that she went there to die alone." Xenovia explained

"Then let's go." Irina suggested

So the four of them travelled back to the Bienfaisant, so ravel, can take them Aston.

"Why do you want to go there?" Ravel asked

"Rias ran away thanks to "insensitive irina" and i think she's going to kill herself." Xenovia explained

"Kill herself? Why?" Sona wondered

"I said some things i shouldn't have. I said that rias betrayed all of us and that she was a coward. I said all of those things out of anger..." irina explained with guilt

"Wow. And i thought Sona was harsh." Saji admitted with a bit of shock

"Shut up." Sona ordered

"I don't know why getting mad at her felt so good. Maybe i was jealous because Issei fell in love with her and not me? I don't know..." Irina wondered confused

"Well, we'd better find her and fast." Ravel said

So the set sailed as soon as they could and went back to Aston. When they arrived at the port, The four got off and went to aston as fast as they could. When they arrived at the Remains of Aston, they all saw Rias with a sword in her hand. Rias sensed them and glared at them from behind her shoulder.

"Rias?" Irina wondered uneasily.

"Rias gremory is dead. There is only scarlet. Scarlet crowe." She clarified

"Scarlet crowe?" Kiba wondered

"I dawned my old name and went with this one." Scarlet explained

"Rias... please listen to me. I'm sorry alright? All those things i said? I said them out of a anger and i'm SO sorry! Please come back!" Irina apologized in agony

Scarlet walks up to Irina without saying a word. Irina looks up and sees the cold glare rias gave her before being picked up by her therionized arm.

"Do you expect me to forgive you?" Scarlet questioned coldly before throwing Irina away.

After seeing Irina get thrown by scarlet, Kiba and Xenovia checked in her. Luckily Irina was knocked out but, when scarlet got closer to them, the two drew their blades defensively

"We don't want to fight you!" Xenovia pointed out while gripping her sword tightly

"Too bad.... i cause i'm going to enjoy seeing you squirm." Scarlet said eagerly

Koneko joins up with Kiba and Xenovia

"I can't believe i'm doing this.." koneko admitted reluctantly

"Prepare to die... worms." Scarlet warned coldly.
