Chapter 11: Training and confessing feelings(continued.)

Ha! Ha! Hi-yah! Ha! *Whooshing noises.*

Issei swings a long sword vigorously trying to learn how to use it by himself.

"Might want to take a break from training. You've been at this for 3 hours and it's only been a day since your fight with Sairaorg. Take it easy and recover before your hurt yourself more."Raynare suggested

"And let that bastard hunt down rias? I don't think so. I'm suppose to protect her but she ends up protecting me. I have to prove to her that i can protect her." Issei said

"Prove to who?" Someone asked

Issei flinches and turns around, seeing rias leaning against a wall.

"Uh... n-no one..." issei answered frantically

"Well, you won't master how to use a gauntlet blade like that. Unless you have me to teach you." Rias said

"Huh? Oh, right." Issei said confused

Rias joins issei

"Prepare yourself. My training will show you no mercy." Rias warned mischievously

(Gulp!)

"I have a bad feeling... raynare?" Issei admitted and asked

"On your own. I'm not entering this blood fest." Raynare answered

"What!?" Issei wondered confused

"Start." Rias said while running towards issei

"W-w-w-w-wait! I'm not-" issei said before getting beaten up mercilessly by rias

"You need to be light on your feet and prepared for anything! Get up!" Rias said mercilessly

Issei gets up and prepares himself

"Start." Rias said

Issei get beaten up mercilessly again but manages to protect himself from some of rias's attacks.

"Better." Rias said

"I'm still recovering! Can't you show me a little mercy!?" Issei reminded and asked

"Nope." Rias answered

Rias and issei train for about 3 hours before stopping and taking a break. During those hours, Issei improved a lot from when they first started.

"Nice work kid, but you still have a long way to go." Rias praised

"Thanks..." issei said exhausted

"I had to learn these skills on my own when i went out hunting. Prickle boars became my teachers whenever i fought them." Rias said

"Really? You'll have to introduce me." Issei said

"Yeah but finding my "master" will be difficult." Rias said

The two laugh

"That reminds me, the part about me being a pervert. That was the old me, this is the new me." Issei mentioned

"The old you..." rias thought.

Rias dwells in her past on what she was like before everything. While dwelling on it, issei noticed the look on her face. She seemed depressed.

"You okay?" Issei asked

"Just thinking about my "past self" before going on this journey. I know revenge won't solve anything, but it's damn well better than sitting around doing nothing." Rias answered while confessing about her reasons.

"Revenge huh. It can go either way. It can be sweet or it can be bitter." Issei said

"I can't help but think of my past self. I just wish i was a normal girl with a normal family. Like you." Rias said depressed
